This was our 4th year on the bounce at Killin Highland Lodges and the welcome we receive year after year is flawless. Lodges are spotlessly clean and have everything you could possibly need and if there is anything that they haven't got that you need I am sure that Colin (the owner) will do his best to help. There is a great walk for dog owners or walkers behind the lodges and every time we have went up the hill we have spotted deer. Also there is a play park with goals and tyre swing great for kids and for the adults there is a fire pit and barbecue area for a few beers on a hot balmy summer night all in all its a great location for getting away from it all and once you have been you'll be hooked Cheers guys for another great holiday.

We stayed in a one bedroom chalet with our son, plenty of room for 2/4 people. A bit disappointed when we arrived as we did not have a view, but the site was large with playing field area and plenty of room to walk our dog.
We booked through Hoseasons who were a bit vague about siting of the lodged we booked so next time I would contact Colin and book direct with the him on site.
Our lodge was clean tidy and airy with everything you need, there are some very nice newly erected larger lodges so a good range to choose from.
We had a great week, very relaxing, Killin is a nice place, with walks to the loch side, tracks and pet friendly pubs, but as usual we found the best value eatery, The Old Smiddy , on our last evening. We will go back a good place to explore all surrounding town villages and lochs.

We had a wonderful time with the family in a beautiful rustic setting. Colin is lovely and recommended some fabulous walks with the dog. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area and taking in the views, the scenery is absolutely stunning, peaceful and serine. Our cabin was immaculate and had everything we needed. We are just about to go back for another visit as our last was just fantastic!!

Nearly at the end of a four night break at Killin Highland Lodges!
You can not overstate the setting of these lodges, perfect location with easy access to several villages and local attractions.
The view from our lodge is stunning out over the hills, the lodge itself is set in the side of the hill and on night number one we decided to climb to the top and take in the stunning views (well worth the effort!)
Killin is close by and offers plenty of choice for places to eat, all of the ones we visited were great, and also dog friendly!
Loch Tay is a short drive away and offers peace, tranquility and dramatic views!
Colin is very friendly and welcoming, and a great source of advice on things to do and places to visit!
Our lodge was very clean and everything worked, it has proved to be a perfect base!
As someone who usually always goes abroad on holiday, I have been sold on Scotland and Killin Highland Lodges! Will definitely be returning to explore some more!

I have just concluded a 4 night visit, accommodated in cabin one. Arrived to find the cabin well aired, clean and tidy with all the essentials. I was later greeted by Colin who showed me the ins and outs of the cabin, having read the website properly I was well aware that the electricity would run on a meter and took plenty with me, however in the four nights I used only two or three pounds.

I explained that I was there for some R&R and was left to my own devices as such, but help was always on hand and 3 very happy dogs provided comfort when needed!!!

The lodges are only one mile from Killin itself, slightly further to the falls of Dochart which was simply stunning on one of the hottest days of the year. Aberfeldy and Kenmore on the north shore of the Loch are also comparatively short drive away. There is a good walk up the hill to the back of the lodges that provides a great view down into the village, but do be wary of ticks when walking through the long grass, the owners do have tick removers on site if needed.

On my last night I was treated to some amazing hospitality from Colin, Sarah and a friend of theirs, enjoying great food, wine and company at the fire pit on site. This is a great wee place to relax and although faced with a minor hiccup (details not relevant) when I arrived it was sorted without fuss as soon as it was possible. Have promised to return later in the year...I may even allow the hubby to come next time!!!

Room Tip: Larger groups and families are housed in the higher numbered cabins, if you are not keen on the nois...

We were a group of 9 staying for the weekend for a surprise birthday for my daughter. We were met on arrival and shown to our lovely lodge....

The balcony was large enough for us all to sit around the table in the lovely sunshine.
I would highly recommend the lodges especially the Oak Cabin as it was large enough for large parties....
We will definitely go back to the lodges again.
Friendly, happy people....
Good time was had by all....
