This is a terrific Hotel run by Robert and Amanda who are extremely friendly and helpful.
The rooms are spacious, are well decorated and very clean. We ate in their dining room on the four nights we stayed there and the food , which was cooked by Robert was excellent. There is ample parking space and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning. My wife Penny and I play golf and there are numerous golf courses in close proximity although there are many other attractions.
We will most certainly return all being well.

Tom and Penny

Room Tip: South facing views over Loch Earn give better views but are slightly more expensive

We stayed at the Lochearnhead Hotel for four nights. We had a lovely time. Robert and Amanda are a really friendly couple and they make a point of chatting with the guests. We ate at the hotel every night. The food was excellent. All the food is cooked by Robert and it's really tasty food.
Our room had a lovely view over the Loch. It was clean and modern .This is a family run hotel and you really are made to feel very welcome. We hope to return again .Ann and John

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for a lake view room as the view is lovely.

Stayed here for 1 night on our journey around the UK. Wished we had stayed longer. The owners are just terrific, the food fabulous (best pastry I have ever eaten), and the rooms clean with great views over the loch. Given that there are distilleries nearby at Pitlochry and the Stuart Crystal outlet at Crieff, this is a good base for anyone wanting to have a pleasant stay in warm, comfortable surroundings,

The room was very clean, and had good space. The bathroom was clean, modern, and functional. The food was excellent, try the venison pie! And the staff and management were all friendly.
The guests lounge is a bit impersonal, but there is a nice full bar and a very nice restaurant. The hotel is right on the lake, so be sure to ask for a lake view. We booked too late to get lake-side.

We stopped just one night on our way North but it was faultless. A warm welcome, room with a fantastic evening view over the loch, first-rate food (best beef-and ale-pie ever), and a good night's sleep. What more could you ask? One tip: if you have time, explore the single-track road on the other side of the loch - beautiful!

Another thoroughly enjoyable weeks stay at The Lochearnhead Hotel. A group of us meet up here every year and are thoroughly looked after by the lovely owners and staff. This year has again been a great success. The food was excellent, always well prepared and presented, but above all very tasty and great value. The rooms have been improved over the years and are clean and very comfortable, the front facing rooms have the below astonishing view across the Loch. (Taken from room 9) You can wake up to watch the Osprey diving into the Loch, then meander down to the lovely restaurant and enjoy a top quality freshly cooked Scottish breakfast. There is something for everyone at the location, sight seeing through the Glens, water sports, walking, cycling, and for our group ... superb motorcycling. This is a truly lovely place to spend a break, and the hotel is above all ideally located. The owners and staff are always prepared to go the extra mile to make you most welcome and make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Other than the evening midges, can not think of anything negative to say.

Room Tip: Ask for front facing rooms to enjoy the views, however the other rooms are all comfortable and clean...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in June 2013. The welcome by our hosts was very friendly. We were shown to our room which had a beautiful view of Loch Earn, nicely furnished with a comfortable bed. Both bedroom and bathroom were spot clean. Breakfast and meals in the restaurant were of very good quality and the food was delicious. During our stay we received a lot of helpful suggestions from our hosts as to which tourist attractions to visit in the area.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Lochearnhead Hotel and would definitely book it if we were to visit the area in future. Furthermore, we have no hesitation in recommending the Lochearnhead Hotel to family members and/or friends.
