“Perfect peaceful place for two to relax, and/or a base for wonderful day trips, with stunning loch views.”
Reviewed 26 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Fabulous location, right on the loch. Amazingly peaceful but with owners nearby who are equally happy to leave you alone or helpfully assist as required. Very comfortable queen-sized bed, excellent facilities throughout and quick heating if you get chilly at any stage. From here we did lots of day trips, taking in Glencoe and Loch Awe, Stirling, Isle of Arran, and the Inverary Highland Games. All wonderful experiences. Note: single lane road for about the final 6 miles - part of the fun! We will be back.

“Lovely cottage by the loch”

Very peaceful location just by the loch - with lovely views from the sitting room window. Clean and comfortable and well cared for, and with nice walks nearby. Basic supermarket nearby - need a car to get further afield.

“April escape”
Reviewed 17 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We had a lovely few days at Bowater Cottage. It was comfortable, warm and clean with a fabulous view. The kitchen is well equipped and the wifi worked. Perfect views across the loch and walks with our dog Rupert who was also welcome. Len and Fiona are lovely helpful hosts and we will certainly be back. Thanks again!

“"Hidden Gem"”
Reviewed 9 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

This little hidden gem is located just outside Drimsynie Estate. Great for chillaxing, but local attractions are easily accesible and within walking distance. The cottage is spacious and well equipped. It was immaculate and we were met by the owner who lives next door. They are on hand if needed, but are not intrusive. The cottage is well equipped and has everything you need. There is plenty outdoor space to enjoy the Scottish sun and the views are breathtaking. It offers fantastic value and is reasonably priced for it's high spec. Have already booked to return. Would thoroughly recommend.

“Trossachs Triumph !”
Reviewed 20 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

An ideal location for exploring the Trossachs, complete with Loch and hillside view. Leonard was a friendly and helpful host who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He is a keen walker and knows the surrounding area very well if you need any advise.
I can recommend staying here and I would like to return in the future.
