Description: Contemporary, quirky Scottish coffee shop set in the picturesque village of Luss, on the banks of Loch Lomond. Serving a wide range of coffees, teas, home baking and food from 10am to 5pm, 364 days per year. Lunch is served all day as we know many of our customers are travelling. A selection of our fabulous home made 'main meal soups' are always on offer with a hunk of locally baked bread. Stokies (large soft bread rolls) are filled with our own prepared fillings such as honey roast ham with redcurrant jelly. For something more substantial try our Quiche and coleslaw prepared from scratch on the premises, Salmon and Prawns, Haggis and Clapshot or Ciabatta breads prepared like pizzas. Our gift shop is filled with quirky Scottish sourced items !

“Extortionate!”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

Soups were average, cakes were seriously overpriced and the date and walnut loaf was dry. Service was chaotic. They got our order wrong three times. Nearly £40 for three soups, two coffees, two teas and two cakes. We won't be back.

“Great Dog friendly Cafe”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

My little lhasa apso Sam and I visited yesterday after seeing it on a dog friendly web site. Such a brilliant place for dogs. So dog friendly Sam got a little chew when we arrived, dogs can sit anywhere inside or out. The food is fantastic for dogs and owners. They sell dog ice cream, popcorn and other lovely treats, and there is plenty of dog water bowls which they fill up fresh. The human food is great to I ordered a filled roll and it was huge with a lovely side salad, so big that i could not even manage to fit in a slice of one of the many home made cakes. Beautiful cafe and gift shop with friendly staff, apologies for Sam being not so friendly. Can’t wait to go back and next time I will manage a cake.

“A tad expensive!”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

Can't really understand why this coffee house has such raving reviews. We ordered a ham and redcurrant jelly stokie with salad garnish which at £6.30 seemed rather expensive but we were hungry and I expected a great things. The ham was very nice but not very generous in its serving and the salad garnish consisted of red cabbage, onion and grated carrot drizzled with thousand island dressing, not everyone's cup of tea - rather an odd choice which was totally wasted. All in all, a round ham sandwich! Didn't stop for cake as these were overpriced too!

“A special coffee shop”
Reviewed 3 July 2014 via mobile

This must rank as a top notch place. None of the plastic stuff we get in the coffee franchises. Beautiful tasty light meals and quality cakes. Lovely environment also in the winter with the big log fire. One if the best coffee shops we have visited internationally.

“A warm welcome and a beautiful place to spend some time”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

We were in Luss to enjoy the sunshine and celebrate our son's first birthday. After a long and enjoyable afternoon outside we needed some refreshment before the drive home. We noticed a sign here saying that dogs were welcome and we had our big dog with so we were delighted to give the Coach House a go.
We are very glad we did. We received such a warm friendly welcome and the staff were so kind to our dog. The Coach House itself is beautiful and very comfortable. The food we had was lovely.
I do understand that not everyone likes dogs, but they are well catered for in most places. it's really nice to just occasionally find a really lovely place where we can all go. The Coach House topped off a highly memorable 1st birthday with our wee boy. Will return!
