“One of the most relaxing hotels I know!”
Reviewed 19 November 2012

I love this hotel! It has never failed to live up to my expectations, whether I'm staying, or just visiting for lunch/coffee/a chill-out etc.

We were last there on 7th November. Managed to get 2 sofa in the corner of the lounge area overlooking the Loch. Simply stunning. The service by the Duty Manager was attentive yet unobtrusive and the coffee and brandy's were delicious!!

I will be back as soon as I can get there, I will stay soon, I hope and thanks, Loch on the Loch for being so special!!

We started our honeymoon here at the lodge. We checked in easy and went up to room which was lovely Corbett room with a balcony overlooking the loch, we also had a sauna inside the room, we used this but it didn't get very warm. We ordered room service and ordered two chorizo burgers which arrived very quickly, looked and tasted delicious. We also got complimentary champagne for being newly weds which was a lovely treat.
Room was very clean and cosy. Perfect for couples looking for time alone. The spa is also lovely and clean, Although took ages for us to find the entrance.
Luke who ran the dining service at breakfast time was great, remembered our order and room number was very nice. Great service and lovely buffet breakfast! Would definitely return!

This was my first trip to loch lommond and the hotel made it worthwhile. We stayed in a munro room which had beautiful views over the loch. On the first night we ate in the resturaunt and the service and food were first class the bar area was also welcoming with a lovely fire it was nice to sit with a drink the only disappointment was i felt the housekeeping could be better the fan above the bath was very dusty and there were stains on the curtains but that apart i would definately return.

The Lodge has the most superb setting right on the shores of Loch Lomond, a long building so that each room has a balcony looking out over the water. The room was well equipped, comfortable beds and sofas, a sauna and well equipped bathroom. The log cabin build gives a nice cosy atmosphere in the hotel. Breakfast is self-service, a good choice on offer. Well worth staying just for the experience of staying on the waterfront.

We stayed in The Monro Room which was very comfortable and had lovely views across the loch from the large windows and outside balcony. we were in the same bulding as the spa and swimming pool which we used. The temperature of the pool was a little cooler than we would have liked but we soon warmed up in the poolside jaccuzi, we had the pool area to ourselves which was great.
Bed was extremely comfortable, plenty of towels and bath robes provided as were toiletries.
We ate at the hotel restaurant and since our last visit they now offer a 3 course set menu with choices as well as the old favourites.
The bar area is extremely welcoming and comfortable for after dinner drinks and chats with fellow diners.
Breakfast choice is very good from the self serve buffet to the menu choices.
The staff were extremely attentive from the minute we checked in until the time we checked out.
We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to continue visiiting for many years to come.

Room Tip: Room 62 corner room with balcony.

I attended this hotel with my company and 6 other collegues for a off site meeting. Every thing about the experiebnce was superb. Rooms, facilities, food, drink, views and the service.
I will be returning in the near future with my family as it seems to offer all that we could need.
A must vist location if you are anywhere near Loch Lomond. (better value that Cameron house)
