We stayed in one of the Corbett rooms at the Lodge on the Loch and I have to say we were not disappointed, the views over the loch are beautiful. There was a balcony which given the time of year we could not make use of but on a summer evening would be fab. The only minor thing I noticed in the rooms was that the toilet/bathroom/sauna is not finished off perfectly. By this I mean there is a bit of a DIY look, particularly in the toilet. I presume this has come from the conversion to make the bathroom more open. (BTW from reading other reviews you might think the bath is IN the room but it is not.) This is only cosemtic and did not impant on our stay. We were dinner bed and breakfast and the food was superb on both nights. The service within the hotel was also to a very high standard and friendly. The overall atmosphere is homely and cosy and we will return, hopefully in the near future.

Well worth a try!! We had a wonderful time. Esure you book dinner, bed &breakfast as the food is loely and also the hotel is in the middle of nowhere (as you would expect). Staff were good and the views over the Loch are simply the best!! Especially at daybreak. I would suggest that you upgrade to the rooms with a sauna, as the experience of stepping out of your personal sauna into our room is divine.

Stayed here with my wife for 5 nights, getting an excellent package for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast.
The location is stunning as is the surrounding area.
The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and all in all very nice.
Ok so its a little tired in places and could do with a lick of paint or varnish here and there, but in general, the place was excellent.
The menu didnt really change during the week, only a choice of 4 starters and mains, but they were happy ebough to cook my wife a different fish option after night 2, I could have happily eaten the steak every night!!
I would highly recommend this hotel, just dont go there expecting an absolute top quality 5 star hotel and you will be very happy with your choice

We stayed 2 years ago, the lodge had a tranquil homely feel and was just perfect then. It's still a lovely place, the staff are great, the location and views wonderful, excellent food and wine, but one things lets this place down and that's housekeeping.

We stayed for 5 nights, and our bed was changed once, our room wasn't cleaned the whole time we were there, the same leaves on the floor and marks on the glass table were there for our whole stay, in fact I had to ask for our bathroom to be swept, as there was broken glass on the floor for 2 days. Maintenenance isn't much better, little things like unpainted doors, cross marks on the ceiling and a general scruffyness ruin the other good points of the hotel.

A bit late with the review but had to share.

Travelled with my girlfriend as i was taking her away for a romantic couple of days. Stayed thru the week which was cheaper, paid £100 per night bed and breakfast which i thot for the standard of the hotel and the location was great value and well worth it.

LOCATION: Right on the shores of Loch Lomond. Views from room were stunning across the loch. Luss is a quiet place but for peace and relaxation it is perfect. Has a little beach which im sure would be busy during the summer months.

ROOMS: We stayed in the Munro room which are situated above the spa. This buliding sits to the left and slightly back from the main building. Was very handy having the spa in the same buliding, could just put on robes and slippers provided and stroll to the spa which is just what we wanted. The rooms are unique with modern features and traditional decor. Open plan bathroom that sits just behind the bed is different and we loved it. huge comfy bed. Nice sized balcony with great view of the loch, we were on the 2nd floor not sure if there are rooms below and whether they would have views of the loch.

SPA: Very clean, good size pool, jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing. Big open window at the spa which you can see into, this may not suit everyone.

FOOD: Breakfast:- Help yourself buffet for most things and things like eggs were ordered and cooked how you like which was very good and at no extra cost. We thought the breakfast was very tasty and plenty choice.
Dinner:- Went to the restaurant for dinner on our 2nd night, paid £30 per person for 3 courses and it was well worth the value. Would have gladly paid more. Great choice on the menu, food cooked to perfection and one of the most tastiest meals we have both had. Highly recommend.

Didn't have a great deal of dealings with staff except at breakfast and dinner and they were very friendly, efficient and always smiling.

Cant recommend Lodge on Loch Lomond enough, we will definately be returning
