We stayed during 3rd week of July 2017. Our family members ranged from 1 year old to 77 year old, and The Strone had something for everyone. It is located very close to the main Pier on Lock Lomond, has got a well kept garden with kids play area, modern kitchen and a large dining room, apart from other amenities. The Stone also offers a bike shed with a number of bikes and a canoe (we didn't use it).
Highly recommended for large groups and families!
This is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the amazing scenery and activities in Loch Lomand area. Spent a couple of nights with family celebrating birthday and it was perfect. The amenities in the house are fabulous and the ambience is lovely. It an idyllic place to stay and look forward to staying again
We spent a few days in this wonderful home from home beautifully stunning house.
This was for my cousins 50 th birthday and 9 of us had a fabulous time, laughing, chilling and just having a wonderful time. This holiday home caters for all ages, for inside and out.
The weather wasn't that great so we didn't get a chance to use the outdoor facilities but we will definitely be back and hopefully use them then.
Lovely home and gardens, beautifully appointed, attention to detail. Very responsive to ay needs. Happened to coincide with Scottish Highland Games...a real treat.
This cottage is amazing. It's location is perfect, being in the centre of Luss, less than 100 metres walk down to the waters edge. Perfect for our sons wedding at the Lodge on the Loch hotel. There is enough room in the driveway for half a dozen cars. Extremely well kept grounds in massive garden, with 19 bikes provided! Didn't get to use the canoe, hopefully next time.
The cottage itself is pure luxury thoughout. Wetroom and bath in master four poster bedroom. A second en suite in another bedroom, then a family bathroom. This is more than a home from home. Didn't want to leave the kitchen, this is more than a home from home. Felt relaxed as soon as I walked through the front door. The cottage has a very tranquil feel throughout, The welcome pack was so appreciated. All so lovely I wanted to cry happy tears. Colette could not have been more helpful in communicative texts. Hope to be back.in front of that log fire very soon.
Wonderful and well appointed house in the beautiful village of Luss. Collette was very welcoming and the hamper was a lovely touch after our long drive from London. Great house. We loved the canoe. Would definitely return.
Absolutley loved this house! Traditional with modern touches. Very homely and our party of 8 plus 2 children really loved it. From the lovely bedrooms to the Den playhouse for the children, it was all you could want.
One wee suggestion, not criticism, a fireguard, our 17 month old was fascinated by the stove.
And thank you for the supply of tasty biscuits etc, a lovely touch.
If this house were mine, I wouldn't let anyone near it LOL,
