“Great place, for a rest stop”
Reviewed 2 July 2014 via mobile

Cake was lovely and reasonably priced coming to £16 for four drinks and cakes, staff lovely only issue was when to pay, we could probably have walked off and they wouldn't have noticed. Dog friendly and toilet available, bit dingy but still. Views great too :)

“Excellent rest stop”
Reviewed 28 June 2014 via mobile

We had a lovely stop at this cafe on our way up to glencoe. Both of the girls who served us were very friendly and the scones were lovely. Great views of Loch Lomond as well

“Mediocre food and service”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

We stopped off for a snack on our way passed. My Husband went inside and gave our order but then a lad had to come outside and check it. We both ordered a scone but then it transpired that they only had one left so I had that with clotted cream. It wasn't a very good scone - it was doughy in the middle; and the clotted cream wasn't great either. The coffees were good.

“Quality has gone ... a pity”
Reviewed 29 April 2014 via mobile

This was a regular stop for breakfast scones , tea/coffee for my group on each trip to the North West. Where we enjoyed the old cottage feel and food.

Not any more...
I stopped here on the Sun 27th Apr and the only good thing was the sunny view over the loch.
I joked that my Sunday scone was more like a Friday scone but after two bites I wasn't even sure which week it had born.
Toilets were not acceptable despite the four staff present who should be noticing these things.

Poor..... we won't use again as other spots in Tarbet and Arrochar are much, much better.
