Lovely hotel in its Britishness, a bit of "vergane glorie" but worth the detour form St Cuthbert's path. Is located next to the ruins of the abbey. Has a lot of pre war charm with ladies powder rooms and gentleman's cloak rooms. Rooms at the front are great as one has a view at the abbey and the river Tweed. Rooms with ensuites are modern so the perfect combination.
The hotel is frequently used for weddings and also includes a swimming pool.
