We stayed at Kerr Cottage 11th 12th April and were given a lovely warm welcome and made to feel completely at home. Liz was so kind to even book us a table at the local Italian restaurant for our first night. Our room was so comfortable with everything catered for and more. The breakfast was super, with fresh fruit salad and a fantastic cooked breakfast. We had a great couple of nights in Dalbeattie with very friendly locals. Liz and Ian made it such a great stay we didn't want to go home.

First time at Kerr Cottage but a wonderful welcome from Ian and Liz. Great room with a very comfortable bed, lovely room with all the usual facilities plus those nice little extras you rarely get elsewhere. Good shower in the morning followed by one of those breakfasts you will remember including Haggis. Stayed at a Hotel the week before costing £240 per night and not a patch on this fantastic B & B. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed at kerr cottage 17th 18th February 2014 and I have to say it's the best b&b I have ever stayed in . From the minute we arrived we where made to feel so welcome and at home Liz and Ian are lovely people who just want you to feel at home. The room we stayed in was outstanding everything you could possibly need and so clean. The bed was extremely comfy and clean and breakfast was excellent and very tasty with plenty to choose from. Cannot stress how good this b&b is highly recommend and the price was very good for the service and quality you get should be 5 star

I was only using them as stopover on my way to Glasgow but the way I was treated and the quality of the rooms meant I would have liked to stay longer. From the moment I arrived was everything excellent having friendly welcome to a large breakfast the following morning.

We had two nights here and, as the other reviews state, this place is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Our room was spacious but there is a lovely sitting room and breakfast area for guests to use anytime. Liz and Ian are great hosts and make you feel very welcome. They offered tips for exploring the area and made dinner reservations too. Breakfast was great and there a lots of little extra touches which made our stay a pleasure. Off street parking is a bonus too. There is a fairly steep staircase to the upper rooms but if you have any difficulty ask for the room on the ground level.
