100% Review, Stayed at kerr cottage with my wife & 2 children (18 & 20) on 16th April 2014, after a long drive we could not have found anywhere better to stay, Liz & Ian could not do enough for us and made us more welcome than some of the big international hotels we have stayed in.The cottage was so clean and had lots of little touches if you head up towards Dalbeattie this is the place to stay.
Many thanks to you both.

Room Tip: Any one of the rooms, we had two both spot on

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of Kerr Cottage. It was lovely to meet you and your family. I must say that we were very touched when you called back later in the day with a bottle of wine for us. Totally unexpected but very much appreciated.
Once again thank you.

We stayed with Liz and Ian for two nights from 9th May. 2014 and were really impressed with the level of service and the wonderfully warm welcome. We were greeted with a cup of tea and a lovely slice of cake, which was very welcoming after our drive up there. Everything is top quality in the whole house and even the Dining Room extension has won a building award! This has to be the best B & B we have ever stayed in. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Hope to be back. Debbie and Don.

Room Tip: We stayed in the room downstairs, which was really spacious, very clean and wonderfully furnished. Lovely comfy bed too with high quality linen. Lots of little extras provided.

We arrived and were parking as Liz was outside. Straight away she was very friendly and took one of our two bags to save me scratching anything no doubt :0). The cottage is in 100% condition. It's like a show-piece but also very homely and relaxed. As Liz showed us around she showed us in to the dining room and pointed to the wine. "If you fancy a bottle later, help your self and just leave the money." The professional photos actually don't do the cottage justice. It was a real treat.
Breakfast on both days was 5 Star, courtesy of Ian.
My Mam and Step-dad now live in Dalbeattie so we will be back and will definitely choose Kerr Cottage first (if it is available). It wasn't the last time we were up but I'm glad to say we got to stay there this time. See you both soon. PJ and Joy.

Room Tip: The best room is the Deluxe Double room just by the main entrance.

We stayed at Kerr Cottage 11th 12th April and were given a lovely warm welcome and made to feel completely at home. Liz was so kind to even book us a table at the local Italian restaurant for our first night. Our room was so comfortable with everything catered for and more. The breakfast was super, with fresh fruit salad and a fantastic cooked breakfast. We had a great couple of nights in Dalbeattie with very friendly locals. Liz and Ian made it such a great stay we didn't want to go home.
