This is a great little set up. A small number of pods makes the place feel quite remote. My wife and I had a posh pod, which really provided sofa beds, electricity, lighting, fridge, kettle, decking with table and chairs for 4, 2 chairs for relaxing and a hot tub (extra) plus a sliding roof to keep dry. Showers, toilets and washing area were clean and best of all the mountain biking is on your door-step ! Can buy wood and basics from the farm. Really enjoyed it

My partner & I are just back from a night away in one of the wigwams "DEE" (wigwam 2) & will most definitely be returning. On arrival we were warmly welcomed, given our key & shown where our wigwam was located. It was a beautiful day & the setting at Gorsebank is idyllic. After we unpacked we ventured off on a walk & took in some stunning views then returned to have our barbeque & later on lit a campfire. Everything is located by lit pathways round the main kitchen, washing/drying & shower area which was spotless & very impressive! (the photographs don't do this place justice)
We slept very well (although I think we would've slept better if my other half had remembered our pillows) & our wigwam was warm & completely draught proof. Wakening to the sun coming up & cooking & eating our breakfast outdoors just made our stay even more special. We are already looking at availability so we can book up to come back but the only problem is we don't know whether to book the wigwam again, a posh pod or the bothy as they all look amazing...oh the decisions! x

What an amazing place! We stayed in 'Urr' a wigwam set back and not over looked. The children enjoyed roaming and finding twigs for kindle, we enjoyed the quiet and the views. The dogs loved the walk through the forest accessible from the farm.
We hired a gas BBQ, and bought wood for the camp fire from the owners. Both at a reasonable price. We even managed to get midge repellant (badly planned packing on our part to forget such a thing in Scotland!). The kids really enjoyed a farm tour, helping to feed the animals, and the marshmallow kits went down a storm!
The facilities were all very well thought out, clean and useful, we will definitely come back!

Room Tip: Urr wigwam is set back a little and has a very private feel to it.

Fantastic breakaway for hubbies birthday! Hot tub was bliss, as well as the posh pod. Everything so clean and well thought out, even a kitchen area to prepare food. Carp fishing, hubby loved, although no fish :( will definitely be coming back. Scenery first class!!♥

Stayed in Bothy #2, and having stayed in bothy accomodation before wasn't expecting much but this was more like quality self catering accomodation than bothy with log burner and bedroom upstairs (being a bothy the loos/showers were a short walk 50m away but clean with hot water). Hosts were friendly and location is great for access to 7 Stanes (Dalbeattie) without having to go on the roads. Our long weekend over Easter was topped off with great weather. Hope to be back soon.

Room Tip: Upstairs is one big room (sleeping 10) so take ear plugs if you have snorers in your midst!

We have just returned from what can only be described as a fantastic mini holiday! Paul and family were all very welcoming and always at hand to help. The Posh pod had only been open a week and we all loved the log fired hot tub especially the kids. The configuration of 2 pods close together was a triumph as we travelled with friends but was private if you didn't know your neighbours! The kids loved the farm tour and as for the fishing - well the men in our party were over the moon!!!!!!!!!!! As a fellow reviewer said - I keep telling my friends how wonderful it is but don't want them all to book it up! We will be back!
