This was a lovely site. We pitched out tent in "kiddie corner" and had loads of space. It was brilliant to me that this site was truly dog friendly, and dogs are ok to be off the lead as long as they are under control which I think is fab!
The shower block is Lovely.... Like a hairdressers salon when you first walk in (see my photos). My only negative would be the showers. They were in the same "cubicle" as the toilets which is fab when you are using the shower etc, but there are no separate toilets for when you're not showering and just need the loo. I just felt this meant there were lots of dirty outdoor shoes walking into the shower cubicles. They were by no means dirty at all, it's just me being picky. Also, the lights are on a sensor and they went off whilst I was showering and I obviously wasn't in range of the sensor so couldn't get them back on.
The shop is well stocked and sells the most delicious biscuits!!!
I would love to have used the spa facilities and think it's a fab facility to have.... But was disappointed that children aren't allowed in which seems a bit unfair since you hire it for sole use so it's not like kids would disturb anyone else.
We will definitely go back if we head up to Scotland again.
