My wife, her parents and I stumbled upon this place by chance, our sailing from Cairnryan had been cancelled by high winds and after trying a few others which had no vacancies we were directed to this b&b. The owner Graham was very welcoming and we were made to feel at home. There were lots of nice touches like fresh milk in a flask and chocolates in our room. The breakfast in the morning was terrific with so much choice and once again so much attention to detail.
It was the first time that we had ever been in Stranraer so we stepped it out along the sea front and found our way about very easily. Unfortunately our boat sailed the next day so we didn,t explore more, our hope is to return again to Glenotter, not by chance but by choice.

My friend and I stayed for one night. Graham welcomed us , showed us our very comfortable twin room. We had a lovely breakfast, so much choice, we loved the fresh fruit and the crystal glasses. It was excellent value for £30 each. Shame we didn't do better at the golf!

We stayed four nights at Glenotter and again were delighted with the accommodation which was faultless with many little extras including fresh milk in a vacuum flask. The breakfasts were excellent. This was our second visit and the standard was still the same. Graham and Sylvia were very welcoming and helpful and we would recommend this B & B to anyone.

My wife and I stayed two nights at Glenotter and were delighted with the accommodations and the food. We visited with Graham at length and enjoyed every minute. He and his wife "watched" our rental vehicle for a day while we went over to Belfast and back on the Stena Lines ferry from Stranraer as "foot passengers." If you're not familiar with a "Monkey Puzzle Tree" check out the big one in their front yard!
