this is a beautiful and friendly guest house with only three letting rooms. Family run to the highest level. The bedrooms have everything you could wish for. They do not provide an evening meal but the breakfast is the bast I have ever had.

Room Tip: any of the three rooms will not disappoint you

This B & B is worthy of an excellent review with its wonderful gardens in a lovely location with a beautiful walk into Stranraer along the loch side. The wonderful breakfast kept us going all day and we were pampered throughout our stay with chocolates, biscuits and bottles of water each day along with fresh milk. Nothing was overlooked for our comfort. Sylvia and Graham made us feel very much at home.

I just stayed the one night but I was very impressed with the standard. Graham and Sylvia were wonderful hosts and Graham was very attentive. Wonderful breakfast and a very clean and comfortable room. Off road parking was a big bonus. I would definitely recommend.

What can we say that others haven't ? Only that we must have stayed here on about six different occasions and Graham and Sylvia never fail to live up to our expectations, just can't fault it, spotlessly clean and a great breakfast.

Room Tip: No preference, all the same standard

We had stayed at Glen Otter previously, when visiting family but had not written a review at that time. When we stayed again recently, we felt that we should add to the lovely comments other guests had made. It is truly a home from home, spotless, comfortable, relaxed and friendly. Sylvia & Graham make everyone feel welcome and will go to any length to make your stay a pleasure. Like many other reviewers, their thoughful ways made such a difference to other hotels etc.- e.g. fresh milk, wonderful fresh fruit selections and a hearty breakfast to set you up.
We have no hesitation in recommending Glen Otter and will certainly go again when we can.

We stayed one night having returned from Ireland to nearby Cairnryan ferry terminal. Graham stayed up to check us in late at night, showed us to our room and made sure we had everything we needed. Little touches like fresh milk, biscuits, chocolates and a fine selection of tea/coffee/drinking chocolate in the room make this feel like a home from home.
Breakfast was excellent and kept us going all day.
The accomodation is immaculately presented and nothing is too much trouble. Would definately recommend anyone to stay here when visiting south west Scotland-We shall certainly return. It puts many large hotel chains to shame. Thank you very much Graham.

A great one night stay at the Glenotter. Graham was very welcoming and our room (2) was spacious, comfortable and with a good shower room. As other reviewers have said, many extra litle touches such as fresh milk supplied for an extensive range of teas and coffees, bottled water, biscuits, sweets and dressing gowns provided. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and a pleasant view over the garden with an impressive Monkey Puzzle tree outside. A range of breakfast items were on offer, and the food was delicious and well-presented. The location is ideal for exploring the Rhins, or for heading across to Belfast. Off-street parking at the rear of the property an added advantage.

With absolutely no hesitation, we would thoroughly recommend the Glenotter and hope to back again soon.
