Ah what a breath of fresh air simply wonderful. There for my daughters wedding - food to die for room immaculate people fantastic - sadly they are retiring what a shame but I wish them all the very best in their semi retirement (maybe). Black pudding, you will never eat a better black pudding or drink a more friendly pint and you know what - I really miss the hotel. David I maybe an Accountant but your the best. My wife still hankers after that haddock and mushy peas. So do I. Oh and the scallops ah. Don't retire think of us poor people, who when we come back will demand the food!!! But no where to go!!!!
Jenny you have to talk him out of it. Please. Ah and celtic won 5-2 and I watched the match in peace with a gin and tonic or three. MAGIC

Room Tip: Better hurry before they go into semi retirement or can we persuade them to hang on. You wont get b...

This is the second time we have left a review for the Cnoc,,is still is a pure pleasure to do so. We have been staying at the local Sunnyside Lodge and went to the Cnoc everyday of our stay, David and Jenny made us feel very welcome every visit, and David is a complete loon in a good way, highly charming and amusing. We did have supper here one evening and the food was amazing, all fresh, extremley well presented and cooked to perfection, ( the chef is a genius). We intend to return next year and actually stay at the Cnoc ( just to sample the Scottish Breakfast),and have a good laugh, as is guaranteed when you visit,,,well done David and Jenny.

Stunning location, stunning rooms, stunning food and wonderful hosts in David and Jenny. A little diamond this place is. Stayed for 3 nights - 2 adults and 2 teenagers and had a ball. Rooms are stunning with little touches you wont find anywhere else. Food is superb, I recommend the scallops - so fresh. Book in advance as it was busy every night we where there with residents and non residents. Breakfast well i am about 7 pounds heavier - delicious. David and Jennys team were a credit to them and nothing was too much trouble for them. Bar is friendly and welcoming.

Views from the hotel are stunning and lots of walks and the beach is a stones throw from the hotel.

We stayed here for two nights to attend a local wedding. Due to the Fort William road being closed our arrival was delayed until 10.30pm. David was lovely when we arrived. Although the kitchen had long since closed he offered to make us a sandwich.

We had the Isle of Eigg room and were very cosy and comfortable. The nip of whisky from the "help yourself" decanter on the landing ensured a very relaxed sleep!

Breakfast was lovely - a fantastic selection and very good quality.

We'll definitely be back.

We stayed in the Isle of Eigg room for one night as part of our holiday. We had previously eaten lunch here whilst camping at a local campsite and were happy to see the amazingly high standard of the rooms reflected our bar lunch experience.

The rooms are tastefully decorated with tartan and the toiletries are Au Lait. Loved "The Broons " twist in the en suite as well!

The food is exceptional and we highly recommend the fish and chips! Service is friendly and fabulous and we absolutely hope to return here in the future.

Returned to Cnoc na Faire for a second visit and it was every bit as good as the first time around. In fact, as I discovered the dinky bottles of prosecco served in the bar you could say it was even better. Stayed in the Isle of Eigg room which has a landward view and it was large and comfortable. Once again Jenny and David were excellent hosts and made us very welcome. Looking forward to making repeat visits to this little gem of a hote.

Stayed here on a glorious June weekend and can honestly say the service, welcome, food and attention to detail was fantastic. The owners David and Jenny are extremely welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. The welcome continued throughout our stay and the hospitality could not have been bettered. Our room was very tastefully decorated and was spotlessly clean with bathrobes, slippers and fluffy towels being supplied along with quality toiletries. Dinner was an excellent experience with first class cuisine at a very affordable price. Finish this off with a great selection of ales and whiskies and you have the recipe for one of the best establishments - if not the best in the area. Views from the grounds are to die for and we cant wait to return. Thanks from Alex and Nicola (Fife).

Room Tip: Rooms at the front have the sea views but ours had views of the hills at the rear. This is not reall...
