“Great Place”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Our first stay in a B&B in many years. Could not have picked a better property! Pulled up the drive and the goose sounded the alarm! Jon and Joan, the owners are friendly, warm people and helped take our bags to the double room in the corner of the stone farmhouse. Jon suggested three possible spots for dinner. Lovely breakfast, spotless, comfortable, cozy room in main house. Lots of character with the ducks and other fowl around the yard. Great views of the surrounding countryside. Located just out of the village of Invergarry, far enough off of the road so that noise is not a problem.
Would love to return and give Ardgarry Farm the highest possible recommendation.

A fabulous hideaway with lovely farm animals, stunning scenery and very friendly hosts. Our Bed and breakfast accommodation was very clean and comfortable and our large hearty breakfasts just perfect for a day in the hills. Excellent internet connection, local advise given and various accommodation types on offer.

This was our second visit to Ardgarry Farm having wished we had stayed for longer the first time.
Both times we have stayed in one of the Highgarry Lodges where our two young daughters have been able to get up close to all the animals and birds to feed them. The lodges are very cosy and well maintained. Jon and Joan are very friendly and welcoming. Excellent quiet location only a short distance from Loch Ness and some lovely walks from the farm.

Truly a wonderful place. The views are outstanding, the animals are lovely and the owners are warm and welcoming with lots of suggestions of place to see. Would highly recommend. Thank you for a perfect break.

Room Tip: We stayed in the lodge closest to the animals and even the cockerel was kind enough not to wake you...

We only spent 2 nights at the Ardgarry Farm but wish we could have stayed longer. We had the twin room which is in the annexe and the room had a comfy seating area which was separate from the bedroom area. Very clean and well maintained throughout the accommodation. Being a very poor sleeper I found the outside seating area to be a real boon at 4.00 am, so peaceful with just the sound of birds and farm animals. Our room looked out over the duck pond and it was great to watch the ducks and geese going about their daily business. Joan and Jon, our hosts couldn't have been more friendly; one morning when I was going to sit outside at about 7.00 am Joan noticed me and came over with a towel to dry the seat for me - very handy as I'm a little disabled. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked to order. The farm dog, Kye, was always coming to say hello and spent some time sitting with me enjoying the tranquility, especially when he realised that I carried dog treats in my pocket!. I believe there were some lovely walks that could be taken from around the farm and the scenery was beautiful. A lovely central place to stay!

Room Tip: Twin annexe provided excellent views of duck pond and open farm land.

My wife and myself stayed for two nights in early May. Should have made it a month. This was without doubt the most wonderful BnB we stayed in during our UK trip. Joan and Jon were just great, making us feel more like friends than guests. The room was clean, comfortable and so quiet. Breakfasts were magnificent. The setting is out of a story book and you will have the company of many chooks, geese, ducks, sheep, peacocks and a friendly black labrador. There's a pub a couple of minutes drive down the road for evening meals. If you are really lucky you may even get to meet Leo. He'll take you by the hand, show you around and make a farmer out of you.
A great BnB in a great part of Scotland. We'll be back,

Lovely place, made most welcome. Best breakfast from a B & B I've had for a long time. Great place for kids. We arrived soaking wet, our hosts bent over backwards Tito help get our gear dry.
Nice little room, separate seating area and sleeping area.
