My wife & I stopped here for lunch en route from Perthshire to the Isle of Skye. The menu was OK, but a number of items were sold out or not available. What we eventually had was OK, but not outstanding. As the Hotel is ideally situated for a lot of passing trade at a major Highland crossroads, we felt that it should be doing a lot better in terms of menu, dish availability and customer service to build an outstanding reputation and therefore to attract more custom.

From the minute our starters were put down in front of us we knew we were in for a treat!! The food was amazing, service was very good without being over the top. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the area.the price is more than reasonable for the quality of food....contrary to other comments. You get what you pay for.

Food was very good and the staff freindly and helpfull. Desert menu was a bit dissaponting compared to the rest of the food on offer and overall for a brasserie a little expensive.

Nice place, management seriously bad attitude. As if they are doing us a favour. Photo is very misleading as there is a road between hotel and river

Had an evening meal here whilst on a recent trip to Scotland. My initial reaction when I looked at the menu was "wow. this place is expensive". However, there isn't really anywhere else in invergarry so decided to eat there anyway. There isn't a main course on the menu for under £16. I had the belly pork which was nice although not exceptional for the price. Had a pint of their local beer which was good but at nearly £4 a pint, also very expensive. The desert was very nice but at nearly £7, again very expensive. Good food but you wouldn't get a 3 course meal here with a drink for under £35. Ok for a special occasion but not for an everyday meal out.
