We arrived in the evening and the front of the hotel where you would check in at the carport was full of sinks - 4 feet high stacked with sinks. The hotel is outdated and when we walked in the room it smelled like a flooded basement & it was hit in the room. The bed you could tell was newer b/c it still had the plastic on it. We turned the air on & it never really got cool. The front office staff was really nice & the cleaning staff was accommodating. The toilet didn't flush well at all. At one point my husband had to fix the handle to the toilet. We won't be staying here again.

The hotel in general was very outdated. You drive into a long parking lot, but there is nowhere to turnaround. You have to back all the way out and hope the car coming in will back out to let you out. My room had a musty and mildew odor throughout and the bathroom was the worst! The paint/repair work done was poor quality; visible paint and rust from previous jobs. The mold/mildew odor in the bathroom was horrific! The toilet was old and not secured to the floor well; it shook when sitting and getting up. The bath towels were rough and dingy and very thin, stains on the sheets and bedspread. The carpet was dirty. There were bugs in the room/bed. I've been itching since I stayed there 2 weeks ago! The hotel advertised free breakfast. They had a continental type breakfast setup with a waffle machine and the service person making the waffles. After my waffle was made, he told me that they ran out of syrup, but I could just use butter. WTF! Butter is not a substitute for syrup! The best part of this hotel was the front desk clerk; Quita. She was very pleasant, professional and shared information about the area. She needs a better job at a better hotel!
