Wow ! Not being a Elvis fan .... I came away with so much admiration for this brilliant singer & what a great humanitarian Elvis was .... We had a VIP ticket & took 5 hours to take it all in ... A must for the bucket list.

“Great for Elvis fans, otherwise skip”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 November 2013

I was surprised by the number of gift shops. The square footage filled with everything Elvis is larger than the square footage of the house. The house is not very big compared to today's mansions. It's also very dated, but if you take into account he bought it at age 22, it's impressive. The records hall is great and seeing his grave is special. My kids are 11& 8. They weren't all that impressed. It's not too expensive to get in, thank goodness. ($25-$30).Personally, since I was in Memphis, I had to see it, but if you're not a big fan or don't like home museums then I would skip it and go the the History of Rock and Roll museum. Hint: there's a free shuttle that runs to/from Sun Records, Graceland and The Rock and Roll Museum. The kids loved eating a peanut butter and banana sandwich at the diner afterwards!

“Really enjoyable”

I went not being a big Elvis fan and thankfully it was quiet. It was well done and you toured around at you own pace. Much better than I expected, so worth a look

“Had to See It”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 November 2013 via mobile

Visited Graceland today and enjoyed the Platinum tour, which includes the home, the automobile museum and the airplane, Lisa Marie. We took the Hop from the Peabody and in order to get back on the 1:30 shuttle, we didn't get to see the plane. I would say plan to spend 3-4 hours there to see everything and maybe get a bite to eat. Shuttle runs every 2 hours so we got on the 1:30 shuttle to avoid staying an additional 2 hours. Graceland is a must for every Elvis fan!
