I give A+ to all aspects of the tour except the tour size. About 10 people too many in the group. We got a bonus at the end of a real rock star playing tourist. Could not see control room or board. Nice store and employees really great.

While the history of the studio was teriffic, and it was exciting to stand where so many iconic recordings have been made, overall I was dissapointed in the experience. The tour was over crowded packing too many people in the small room upstairs where the exhibits were placed. They then rushed you on to the recording studio before you could have a chance to look at the exhibits you heard them speaking about, but couldn't see.
Sadly I learned more about Sun Studio from my tour of the Rock and Soul Museum than I did from the Sun Studio Tour itself

Loved every minute of this guided tours. From the lady on the till who got us on an early tour to the guide who was both informative but also entertaining. Anyone who has only the slightest interest in music will find this great. So much history and characters in the building.

Can't help but feel the ghosts of past famous musicians whose voices once echoed through the walls.
It's small by comparison but a must visit especially if you are on a tour. Old school it is but that history.
Get a Tee in the shop on the way out.
