“Fluffy Biscuits”
Reviewed 12 November 2013

Conveniently located off of Main Street Trolley. Delicious, light fluffy biscuits. I ordered
Eggs Florentine,, expected fresh spinach. My favorite thing is their "newspaper style" menu full of quotable quotes. Make sure to make note of the street sign outside. November 6th Street

“Great Breakfast”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

This was a nice little restaurant that had a hometown feel to it. The food was very good! Their menu was a newspaper style complete with great quote and facts we enjoyed reading. We got everything from waffles to pancakes to omelets and hash browns! The food was really great here.

“The biscuits are worth the visit!”
Reviewed 29 October 2013

If your looking for a good breakfast spot, this is a great place. This was our first visit to Memphis and we were looking for something other than a chain restaurant for breakfast one morning. The biscuits were some of the best I've had. Eggs and other sides were very tasty also and presented well. Pancakes looked awesome, but were a bit dry. Atmosphere is rather charming with bright colors and a country cafe feel. Highly recommend this place and would love to try them out for lunch sometime also as menu looked great.

“Definitely not a southern breakfast”
Reviewed 27 October 2013 via mobile

This place is more like diner food. Do not get the Mexican egg wrap. Did not taste like Mexican. The sweet tea with lemonade was the best thing we had.

“First time with biscuits and gravy”
Reviewed 27 October 2013

Breakfast on a Monday morning, clean, comfortable nicely decorated restaurant a short walk from the Peabody Hotel. No problem getting a table. Husband and I both got eggs over easy, (me) bacon, (he) sausage, (me) grits, (he) potatoes AND (both) biscuits and gravy.
Eggs were good, sausage not so good (average sausage patty), bacon seemed reheated, grits were grits. But the biscuits and gravy is what gives this place 4 stars in my book. Our lovely waitress (Ruby Ann?) gave us proper biscuit eating protocol: "Break them up on your plate and pour the gravy over them." DELICIOUS!
