Stayed at the Days Inn from the 18th to 23rd July 2014. First, I have to commend all the staff, who were absolutely fantastic, from Tracy in reception to the General Manager, Ms. Patel.
On check in, I was in a bit of shock upon entering the room. It seemed a bit creepy to be sleeping under Elvis but once I got used to it, it was brilliant. Beds were comfortable (I had to return to the hotel due to a flight delay) and the sheets & room very clean. The pool was in good condition but needs a bit more maintenance, as do certain areas around the hotel. Breakfast was fair enough.
In all, I'd happily recommend the Days Inn, even if it isn't 5star. I am looking forward to visiting again.

During our un-planned road trip this past week, we were constantly worried about being able to find good priced/ comfortable hotels. We got very lucky with this Days Inn in Memphis. they allowed us to bring our dog into the room, and the price was very reasonable. The beds were very comfortable. There was a roach on the floor but the room and service were so nice that we did not complain. The Location is perfect! close walking distance to Elvis' Graceland in Memphis. Although we did not have time, we would have love to have bathed in their guitar shaped pool. it looked so welcoming. They offer a good free breakfast and the lobby is filled with Elvis collectibles.

From the first person at check in through check out everyone was nice. They were helpful and kept their smile even you knew they were answering a question for the hundredth time.
The breakfast way above average. They even offered to let me leave car in their lot while going to Graceland to save cost.
I would have rated a 5 but the bed was a problem. I have bad hips and herniated disc and the bed was too hard. In morning I noticed there is piece of plywood between box springs and mattress. Guess it was too soft for someone so they over compensated.

This was our first time coming to Graceland and we were very happy staying here at the Days Inn. The staff was so friendly, we just loved them! and they had a wonderful little breakfast nook surrounded by Elvis memorabilia, it was perfect.
Our room had a very faint odor of cigarette when we first walked in and is why I didn't give them a 5. It was very clean and well appointedted with everything we needed, the pool was super sparkly in a cool cozy courtyard.
I for one am praying they do some updating and remain here for a long, long time. Some places nearby are quite a bit fancier but do not have the ambience the Days inn has, and it certainly has a much better rate!
We would recommend our friends to stay here and will definitely be returning ourselves.

Ok, so don't expect the Ritz with this place but it was clean, comfy beds and breakfast was tasty! What more do you need?? Location is basically next door to Graceland which was wonderful.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was when the cleaner knocked we where luckily still in our room. She said 'I'm here to clean your room' but strangely had 3 young children with her. Ok, maybe her babysitter let her down that particular day but we found it unprofessional.
All in all we would definately stay again!

We came in on a Saturday afternoon in July 2013. This was just an overnight stay on our way to Ormond Beach. Wanted to do something fun each day and this hit the spot for an inexpensive memory. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. What made the place so memorable to me was the early Sunday morning breakfast around the guitar shaped pool listening to Elvis sing Christian hymns. . That was wonderful and relaxing. They played until about 11 AM then it switched back to his rock n roll music. The breakfast was just so so but it was included so I didn't expect much. The day we stayed the pool was recently shocked so it burned the kids eyes but they loved and enjoyed the guitar shape anyway! On Saturday evening we found a flyer in the lobby about Marlow's Ribs. We gave them a call and our family of seven got picked up in a early 90's pink caddy limo. It was not fancy but it was fun! Marlow's was a fun experience with the free transportation. If we pass through this way again I will so stay here. It was a precious memory for me:)

Room Tip: We stayed a few steps from the gated pool. Great location.
