“Not just the park, but the continuing river walk...”
Reviewed 20 March 2014

...Combining the park below with the continuing river walk, we rank as excellent. We enjoyed walking in Tom Lee Park, but the part we really enjoyed was as we walked further south and up and ended up going across a bridge into an upscale neighborhood on top of the bluff. Then we realized we were still on the actual river walk as we followed the signs. After enjoying going through this beautiful neighborhood, it curved between some homes and to an upper walkway just barely below the homes we had admired when looking up from Tom Lee Park. Eventually, there were stairs that brought us down to the park. We were so glad that we didn't miss this extra walk on such a gorgeous Spring day!

“Nice views”

Nice park with nice view of the Mississippi River. Appeared to be very clean. Nothing going on just went for a stroll and took pictures.

“Nice park”
Reviewed 9 October 2013

Im from Dallas and our parks close around 11pm, not 8pm summer or 6pm in the winter. That was the only disappointment. Parking was convenient. Little bits of history to stop and look at along the way. Didn't get to see all of it because of the early closing time

“Relaxing”
Reviewed 25 September 2013

Narrow but long area along the river with a paved trail and scattered benches. Bathrooms were locked with porta potties outside them. View of the river was nice. The bluff behind the park has some beautiful but eclectic homes with stairs up to them. The one thing that disturbed me was a man walking along the trail with a club. Not for sure what that was about but didn't stay long after that. Overall nice and clean but not much going on.
