Since I was in the downtown area with a bit of extra time, I decided to ride the trolley.
The fare is very reasonable of a $1 (cheaper during lunchtime and passes can be purchased).
The trolley stops near all the major downtown attractions (National Civil Rights Museum, Beale Street, Mud Island, the Riverfront), restaurants and hotels. It's also great for parking somewhere cheaper and catching the trolley.
It can get pack at the popular stops.
My only reason not giving it an excellent was the trolley that I was on didn't accept the passes that quite a few tourist had. They either had to pay the $1 or wait on the next trolley. The driver was quite rude about this.
Otherwise, it's a nice way to enjoy downtown Memphis at a low cost
