Visited at lunch time on a sunday for the buffet. The restaurant was very quiet but the staff quickly got the buffet ready. The food was really good and there was a good range of curry, bhajis and even chips! All of the dishes were very good and I have eaten in many curry houses including a couple of trips to India. The restaurant was clean and tidy and staff friendly. A couple of pints of cobra and as much good curry as you can eat for just over 20 quid made me a happy father.

Good service and excellent food. We stayed at the Level Crossing in Llandovery in May during a motorcycling trip and had this place recommended to us. True to their word its an excellent Indian restaurant.

Our 1st visit having moved into the area from Birmingham.
Poppadoms were warm and usual selection of dips. Mango was really nice and the mint was a tad more creamy/thicker than normal which we both preferred.
The cutlery and dishes were really nice and plates always warm.
Prawn patia on Purée was one of the best I have enjoyed. The mix came in a separate pot so the crispy fried bread remained crisp and not soggy from the sauce.
My partner had fishcakes which was really well presented and tasty.
Both mains came out with crispy nan bread, something that should not be taken for granted and fragrant pilau rice.
My partners korma was excellent, not too sweet or creamy, with lots of flavour.
The chef was happy to accommodate any wishes you would have if not on the menu, a note for future visits.

The service was very good and as mentioned by the majority, the chef/proprietor visited our table for a chat and very nice he was too.

A minor gripe was the background music which kept breaking up and became a little annoying, but that's all it was.

Llandovery is blessed with some really good eating in and out options, this being one of the better.

Shall most definitely be returning.

Usually an "all-you-can-eat" buffet would be something that we would regret but knowing the high standard of previous visits, we gave it a try one Sunday evening
Service was friendly and professional and the food choices were of a high standard but there was only one lamb choice although there was a surfeit of chicken so we were limited to lamb jalfrezi and vegetable curry.
The restaurant was, unsurprisingly, full and the dishes were frequently topped up. The lamb was particularly good as was the pilau rice.
The chef came to each table to check everything was fine. A nice touch.

We stumbled across this restaurant on a Thursday where there was a very good deal on for less than a tender.

The food was cooked to a really good standard and considering we were on a deal there was no scrimping on portion size.

There were some different offerings on the menu and what we had was cooked to a very high standard and was fresh and tasty. The nan bread was especially crisp and hot when it arrived. Service was good and what made our experience memorable was the arrival of the chef who was really keen to know that his food had been appreciated.

Setting and decor all good. Some background music might have added to the atmosphere although we did eat relatively early.
