“Brilliantly Looked After”
Reviewed 7 August 2013

We stayed here for two nights in February this year on the recommendation of our son. Mark could not be more helpful, considerate and caring and nothing is too much trouble for him. The breakfasts are unforgettable; the hot tub was an added bonus and the walks from the house are outstanding; in fact we spotted two seals watching us !! We will certainly be staying again and I have already recommended it to friends and work colleagues.

Room Tip: These reviews are honest. Believe me, I have stayed in enough places that really don't deserve...

Beautiful location, spotless rooms & gorgeous sea views, what more could you ask for! The manager, Jan was an excellent host(ess) and very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner, Mark either and they both made my stay an excellent experience. I would recommend staying here to anyone, must try the hot tub next time!

A fantastic place to stay and to explore aberaeron. We stayed in the annex and was treated to breakfast in bed and full use of the hot tub. Overall a superb little find for us and we will definitely visit again

This is the third time I have has the pleasure of staying in this B&B. Since the last time a large dining room conservatory has been erected and a large hot tub in the garden. The views and standard of Marks food is simply amazing and this alongside his hospitality is second to none. I would recommend this place to stay to anyone as no doubt it would be a pleasurable experience for all.

We very much enjoyed our two nights in this very pleasant house. One of the major attractions for us in chosing it was the fact that it is possible to walk from the house along the beach path into Aberaeron to shop and particulary to eat and drink in the evening. When we reached the house this attraction was surpassed by the wonderful position of the house next to a field leading straight from the garden down to the sea which enabled us to be by the sea within a couple of minutes, plus the sea views from the two front bedrooms and the discovery of a hot tub in the garden from which one can view the sea. However even these advantages were beaten by the kindness of Jan who looked after us so well, even to the extent of lending me her own new swim suit so that I could use the hot tub without having the trouble of finding a suit in the local shops.

Room Tip: Room 1 has the better sea view, but leave it available for me when I need it please!

We Loved Mark & Jan so much we simply had to book again. Forget the lovely clean rooms, the Ocean View, The Lovely breakfast's but Ty Gwyn most defiantly has an air of Magic to it!

As this was our second visit and due to a cancellation we was upgraded to a bigger room at no extra cost WITH OUR OWN OUTDOOR HOT TUB! Needless to say me and my Fiancé were over the moon. A bottle of Champagne a blanket of stars and a hot-tob made the perfect evening after our short walk from town.

Have already recommended this place to Friends & Family and would highly recommend to anybody else

Thanks Mark & Jan for all your help.

We had an extremely pleasant stay at Ty Gwyn. The location is beautiful, with sea views from our room and a short walk (over a fence!) to the beach. Mark, the owner was a brilliant host - our breakfast was excellent and the service was first class. We had a family room for myself, my wife and our daughter - Mark put an extra bed into our room for our daughter. The room was very nicely furnished and still felt extremely spacious even with 3 of us sharing. We were just there for one night, but would definitely come back and stay for longer.
