Dined here twice this year on holiday, easily found on the harbour front, so has stunning views from the terrace, décor is simple and elegantly modern, the service is exceptional, very welcoming and friendly but the food is simply divine! Fresh ingredients, cooked to order so be prepared to wait a little while, it is so worth it. weekly specials so need to check. Ploughmans lunches are delicious as are all of the desserts. After dining its lovely to sit with a drink or two on the terrace watching the sun set. Children are welcome in the restaurant and dogs welcome on the terrace only.

We both had seared scallops followed by roast duck. By that time, my wife was too full for a whole dessert so we shared the delicious lime cheesecake. All told, the food was excellent, good in quantity and providing for a very satisfying meal. Slightly negative points were bread not being served with the starter, a limited choice of wine by the glass, a fairly spartan ambience, and although by no means full, the noise from other diners was intrusive on occasions because there is nothing to absorb the sound. Finally, the service was a little slow taking an hour from arriving at the restaurant before we got the main course. However, that was not really a problem.

The food is of high quality and really tasty with good choice on the menu but it is slightly expensive compared to other places in the town. The restaurant is nice but could do with some music.

Went here last August on a lovely summers day was brilliant as the sun was on its way down we sat outside and had a lovely bottle of fizz, the food was just great I had steak and so did my partner , the pepper corn sauce was brilliant like wise the dessert , if your in Aberaeron on a nice summers day / evening I would be going here was just the perfect setting with great car parking in the main town car park 20 yards away... A little pricey compared to the others in the area but well worth it... Would I go back... YES .... Should you go YES
