Yes, as the title says, the food was ok, i've had better for what I paid. The service was the problem. Our order was taken by a very pleasant young man, but he got our wine order wrong. A woman brought our wine to us, and poured it into our glasses. When I mentioned that it was not what we ordered, she said, "Oh well, it all tastes the same." Not wanting to make a fuss at the start of our evening, we said nothing. Thankfully, we continued to be served mostly by the young man, but occasionally, by the woman, who would scowl and obviously wish she were somewhere else. We waited an age for our dessert to arrive, but did not question this, as to be honest, we were too afraid to approach the woman waitress! After asking for the bill, from our table, I paid the young man with cash, which resulted in them owing me just over £10 in change. I also give him a £5 tip. After waiting for another age for him to return with my over £10 change, we decided to go the front desk to ask for it. He replied by saying, "Oh you want it". The woman then appeared, and I cannot be sure, but I believe she said something unpleasant as we left.We will not be returning.
