“A lovely guest house with lovely hosts.”
Reviewed 7 August 2013 via mobile

We were running out of luck getting a B&B in Aberaeron town centre. We travelled a couple of minutes out of town to find this lovely one.

We were welcomed by Caryl, and shown the room. The rooms were perfectly clean and nicely decorated. All the standard things in the room, TV, Tea & Coffee etc.

The house itself and the grounds were extremely well kept.

Dewi served breakfast and it was great with a good selection. The cooked breakfast came with the nicest bacon I've had in a while :-)

All in all a lovely guest house with great hosts. Would stay here again!

A warm welcome awaits you, a nice property with guest rooms on the second floor, for those that prefer self catering there is a self contained flat on the lower ground floor.
Great breakfast with fresh produce and a good choice. The cooked breeakfast set me up for the day.
P.s. Try the jacuzzi, great after a days walking.

We stayed two nights which gave me the opportunity to sample the alternatives on the menu for breakfast. First morning I had the full cooked breakfast and the second morning, I had the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. I loved the full breakfast but the scrambled egg option was to die for! This is high quality food. The homemade granola is a must also. The rooms were of exceptional quality with everything you could ask for, plenty of space, good storage facilities, a really lovely comfy bed, beautiful decor, nice bathrooms with lovely toiletries. And to top it all, Caryl and Dewi have to be the friendliest guest house owners I've ever met. We look forward to our next visit

We stayed just one night at Llys Aeron but this was long enough to see that this was a really comfortable place to stay. Clean, generous rooms with all the little touches you associate with a five star hotel and including a large comfy bed. You could not want for more for a good night's sleep. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, the bacon to die for. Our only regret that we had not booked a longer stay, but, we will be back.

A lovely warm Welsh welcome from Caryl at Llys Aeron when we arrived somewhat dishevelled and in need of tlc after walking from Llangrannog to New Quay on the Ceredigion coastal path. She made us tea and coffee to enjoy in the conservatory and then surprised us with the most beautiful home baked sponge cake which was delicious and so light! My friend and I stayed in Room 3 which was spotlessly clean with a large bathroom - bath and shower. I was a little concerned that the room faced the A482 but the traffic was very light and not at all intrusive during the night. We both slept well. Our fellow walkers had Room 2 and were equally pleased. Breakfast choice very good - I had a really good quality muesli followed by beautifully presented scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. My friend very happy with her full Welsh breakfast. Thick toast and delicious preserves just what's needed before another long coastal walk. A highlight of our stay was the hot tub in the garden - the wardrobe in our room revealed 2 fluffy soft robes to wear over our swimsuits to cross the garden and it was the height of decadence wallowing in the tub overlooking the pretty walled garden and the hills beyond. Total bliss. We've booked to return in April and I'll definitely be back with hubby in tow sometime soon. Both Caryl and Dewi very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Diolch yn fawr!

Room Tip: The double room overlooks the back of the house, but both twins at the front are not noisy and traff...

back from 4th stay at this lovely guest house. Always a warm Welsh 'croeso' from owners. Large rooms, spotlessly clean and nice touches like; flask of fresh milk in the room for tea; cookies and big fluffy white towels and bathrobes.
