My husband and myself stayed here for 3 nights over Easter for a family reunion.
We had a lovely room overlooking the park, it was kept exceptionally clean and warm and we must have had the most comfiest bed in Aberaeron!!
Breakfast was good, always freshly prepared and delivered piping hot...yes we were well looked after by all the hardworking staff.
As it was Easter it was evident that the hotel was in dire need of more staff and this was very clear when we booked for the Easter Sunday carvery. This was held in a large room which was obviously used for weddings and apart from half expecting the bride and groom to show up it was very impersonal and not what we expected at all. The carvery was nothing special and we waited ages for plates to be cleared and sweets to be served... sorry but that was disappointing and loses the Feathers Royal a star.
Would we return? Yes we would but probably not at holiday times.
