We spent three nights at the house between Christmas & New Year. It’s a lovely place - clean, warm, comfortable & well equipped - and perfectly situated for exploring Aberaeron. We’d definitely stay there again.
A lovely, peaceful, and restful stay in a beautifully appointed house, right in the heart of the gorgeous West Wales seaside town of Aberaeron. The party comprised three, me and my wife, and our Border Terrier Sali. A very well maintained house with more doors than you can shake a stick at, all leading to nicely presented rooms with all mod cons. Also on the plus side, a lingerie shop next door (!), then a cafe, a newsagent and a pub, all in the same street. Bargain! I have nothing but praise for the owners of the Georgian House, well done, it's smashing! Just one niggle. The parking. There is ample parking outside the house, but only for one hour during every day bar Sunday. So, you will have to move any vehicle, unless you park it there after 6 p.m., then you have until 10 AM the next day, (10AM including a one hour stay after 9AM). Confused, don't worry, there's plenty of parking elsewhere and if I'm wrong about the parking, I'm sure the owner will correct me.
Lovely Georgian house, Great place to stay, lots of good places to eat. Nice for walks on the beach and along the river.
Georgian house in a Georgian town overlooking the park near the Harbour, There are organic veggies & onions from Brittany .
Lovely house with plenty of room and dog friendly. Found the house clean and well provisioned. Lovely central position within the pretty town of aberaeron. Level and easy access to all shops, restaurants etc.
Hope to stay here again! Owner very good at communicating.
The house was stunning and a perfect location for us as we have a 6 year old and a baby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Aberaeron is a must to visit.
The owner Clive was very nice to communicate with, answered all questions promptly.
I would of given 5 star if the accommodation was pet free but is perfect if you do wish to take a pet.
If Clive would have us we would return. Thank you
Stayed for 5 nights over the Christmas period. The house was clean, comfortable and warm! It is equipped with everything you need and the owner had left a bottle of wine and some chocolates which was a nice touch. The location is great, right in Aberaeron town centre, overlooking Alban Square playing field. The only drawback is the lack of parking, limited between 9am and 6pm to one hour with no return in the hour, however, just around the corner, opposite the Feathers Hotel there are three unlimited parking bays which was useful!
