Stayed at the cottage this weekend with our 12 week old son for our first family holiday.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful in an excellent location and Seunghee was so hospitable providing all our needs even down to a baby bath & toys and also a yummy chocolate cake & fresh flowers.

We will certainly be returning in the near future.

Strawberry Mill is a lovely little cottage in a beautiful location, perfect for exploring or just relaxing in a home away from home! We felt very welcome and the owner was very helpful, ensuring that we had all we needed to make our visit as comfortable as possible! We will definitely be returning soon.

“Wonderful! Relaxing! Great location!”
Reviewed 16 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We have just got back from a 4 night break at Strawberry Mill. (We are a family of 2 grown-ups and one young child). It was truly a lovely cottage with everything you need AND with the added luxuries of a homemade chocolate cake and fresh flowers waiting for us upon our arrival!
We needed to get away from the 'hustle and bustle' and the stay at Strawberry Mill enabled us to feel at home straight away. The landlady and her family live next door -but not adjacent- and we did not disturb each other in anyway. We still felt we could be 'private' and come and go as we wished. The location, nature and stunning sea views were simply beautiful! We love going out for nice meals and were pleasantly surprised with the gastro pub & restaurant 'Pen-Y-Bryn' which was located round the corner. Our young daughter also liked their food and they welcomed families which always feels nice. We took the friendly landlady's advice and went on several excursions visiting 'local' sights. We particularly liked seeing the seals at Angel Bay! If you want a relaxing break and close to the beach(es), beautiful nature but also feel you staying in a nice place then choose Strawberry Mill. You will not regret it! Hope you enjoy your stay -we did!

Management Response
17 Apr 2015
I am so grateful for your review. As always, if I could give my customer respite that they needed, that is my best reward. Indeed, I agree North Wales is a lovely place to be, and my area feels picturesque. Thank you so much for coming and I am glad you enjoyed your rest here.
Kind Regards

Myself and my partner stayed her for two nights.

The cottage was beautiful, it had lovely sea views and a warm homely feel to it.

Seunghee was very helpful and suggested places for us to visit.

For food go to the Pen-Y-Bryn pub, the food is to die for.

Overall, a fantastic stay, would highly recommend it and hope to visit again soon!

“Amazing getaway from the city”

Seunghee gave us a very warm welcome to her beautiful cottage with all the information you ever needed to know about the location and the cottage itself. We are a young couple from London looking for a getaway and this cottage was a perfect escape. It was perfect to come back to after a long day of sightseeing as well as a cosy night in just watching the TV. The cottage is a perfect size for a few people with all the necessities. The leather couch is SOOO comfortable to get lazy on and just kick your feet up with a cute little electric fireplace to warm up the mood. Very clean when we arrived and Seunghee lives just next the cottage so she's always around if you need something. We took Seunghee's recommended "view point" which is just a 25-30 minute walk slightly uphill where you can see beautiful breath taking views of North Wales. We didn't have a car although it was fairly easy to call a taxi or walk around the neighborhood. We recommend booking a reservation for the Pen-Y-Bryn pub which is just down the road where we had delicious food and a few drinks! We also took a taxi to Conwy to see the castle and walk about the town and took the bus to Llandudno which is a beautiful seaside town with lots of shopping and restaurants. And beautiful sights of the mountains and sea. We also took the bus back to Colwyn Bay in time for our train back to London. Thank you again Seunghee for having us and hopefully will be staying again!

We have just returned from a fantastic family holiday in North Wales.
Great base and easy access to lots of local attractions. Plenty of local shops, restaurants and takeaways to choose from.
Strawberry Mill is a lovely private holiday home that has been lovingly cared for by the owners. It is situated at the top of a mountain in a residential area that is very peaceful with fantastic views to the sea.
Very comfortable king bed with lovely bedding and furnishings. Tv and dvs upstairs and down for chill time with the children.
Very well equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook a family meal.
Lovely garden with trampoline and swings and tennis court which my 12 year old son loved.
Great heating system during a chilly February and lovely hot bath and powerful shower.
Owner is extremely welcoming and helpful making a lovely chocolate cake for us and fresh flowers.
This home has been cared for and has a lovely calming feeling to it, we will definitely be returning.

Ideally located above Colwyn Bay and approximately 5 minutes drive to town, 10 Minutes from Llandudno and Conwy. Further afield it is approximately 1 hour from Snowden. The location is in a residential area and is very tranquil with lovely views out to sea. 5 minute walk to pub, shop and Indian takeaway. Owners live next door and are extremely helpful.

The cottage has 1 bedroom, a large lounge, well appointed kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Bathroom and is spotlessly clean with roll top bath and shower cubicle.Lounge has selection of DVD's and Freesat TV which has log effect fire. Bedroom has lovely cosy bed with lovely clean bedding. Whole place is centrally heated and warm.

High chair, pull out bed and baby bath available

Outside gardens with play area.

Would highly recommend and was so good we stayed 2 weeks.
