My wife and I decided on an impromptu visit to Snowdonia with our dog and this place was recommended by another inn that was full (the owners were ex-regulars when they lived in the area)
The room (room 6) was a good size clean and very comfortable. It was nice to have dual aspect windows and we were very happy there.
It is also dog friendly so our spaniel was allowed to stay in the room with us and could have joined us in the pub if he wasn't so tired from running up and down the Snowdon Pyg Track all day!
The owners and staff were all very friendly and we were made to feel very very welcome. It's a perfect location for hiking in Snowdonia and very close to some lovely towns.
Beware following Google Maps to the hotel as we were taken over a rather narrow, minor road with a few tight turns and hills! Better to stick to the main road!
The food in the pub was very decent quality and we had no complaints.
Value for 2 nights stay, breakfast and 2 dinners was very very reasonable.
We will certainly be returning in the future and highly recommend it to others.
