We had several meals in Tyn-y-Coed during our trip to Capel Curig. By far the winner was their awesome burgers. Sumptuous, juicy meat encased in soft, fresh bread (no pathetic burger buns there) and a good side of nicely done salad and chips. The curry and pizzas were also fantastic and when we eventually did enough walking to earn a pudding, those were delicious too. We also appreciated the refreshing Symonds cider on tap as well as local ales. They have a great atmosphere and friendly staff. After dinner there is a pool table and big OS map of Snowdonia in the back room to enjoy. Very good pub, we recommend it highly.

We visited the Inn on two occasions as we were staying in the local area.
We noticed that the Specials board had been changed on the 2nd visit which is good to see!!
Customer Service at both bar and table were of an excellent standard just like the food- the homemade Treacle tart was absolutely beautiful!
The only problem was the Car Park across the road which was uneven and of a poor standard, you also have to cross the A5 main road to gain entry to the Inn anybody with poor mobility take care.

We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time. The staff are all so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are comfortable and quite spacious. Quality of the food is excellent and the view from the inn is amazing.

From a recommendation from a neighbour where we are staying for a week. We walked to the hotel having booked a table as it was really busy. When we arrived we went to our reserved table ordered food and Dink's the service was very good. The food arrived after 25 minutes having been freshly cooked it was delicious. The atmosphere was just what you would expect from an old coaching inn. Will be going back for more later. Very impressed.
