i stayed in the bunk room for 5 days and had an amazing time. Alice and her delightful family and staff seem to attract such interesting open people which together with the lovely breakfast and daily filled flasks of fresh coffee made my evenings as special and enjoyable as all the hill walking.

Room Tip: The bunk room is amazing value and a comfy bed but it is very basic akin to a hostel. You do have ac...

I honestly cannot find a bad thing to say about this place, Alice and her family instantly make you feel part of the family, this is my second stay and again loved every minute!,,,,
This occasion was part of a group of 15 adults and children and the kids absolutely loved the bunk room it became for three nights a strictly no adult zone. The unusual little bunk room gave them a sense of independence but were safe and still from an adult perspective could heard and checked on when sitting relaxing.
I'm so looking forward to spending time there again soon..already planning my next trip..

Room Tip: The four poster room was such a treat and I will definitely be staying in there again..

I arrived at midnight and it was never made an issue. Instead the owners - Alice and her partner - were concerned and extremely accommodating. The following morning Alice cooked breakfast with cereals, juice and yoghurt also available. Interest and care was taken and it was definitely value for money. I didn't stay long enough to try out the hot tub but it sounded amazing!

The people are lovely and genuine, however sharing a bathroom with cats eating their food and cat litter in the bath room is just a warm up to the dogs urinating and deficating in the kitchen. If it wasn't for these points the venue and the atmosphere would be lovely. Perhaps I am selfish by not wanting to share my time of hygiene with cats, or eating and cooking while dodging dogs.

Room Tip: If you are ok eating and dealing with your personal hygiene with animals then you will love this pla...

We had a great stay at Alice's place. The conversion of a church makes it special, the easygoing atmosphere makes it outstanding. We had a decent size room with a proper bathroom. Breakfast was good and also for non-walkers like ourselves there's plenty to see and do in the area. We were welcomed by Camilla, a Dutch working-student, which was a pleasant surprise.

We stoppped at this place for a number of nights this year whilst on our family holiday with the kids. All I can say is what a joy Alice made us feel welcome and part of the family, whilst only B&B is available there a number of places to eat out within easy walking distance, and is only approx 10mins from Mount Snowdon. There is also a hot tub in the garden which is great after a Jaunt up Snowdon. Food superb all round bloody nice place to stay, we will use again for sure.

We have stayed here on a number of occasions. This place is what it says on the tin. A B&B in a location perfect for exploring snowdonia. Alice & family are very welcoming and the rooms are great. Always difficult to get a room at weekends as its so popular. The fact that there is a excellent pub within walking distance and a shop across the road just means you can't get better in this part of the world.
