My husband and I stayed here for one night whilst travelling through North Wales. We booked it at the last minute, and are very glad we did!
The accomodation is lovely. The rooms are freshly decorated, with delightful furniture and wonderful features such as original beams. We had a beautiful en-suite, with a two person shower! Our accomodation was in the annexe, which is attached to the cottage. We had our own front door key & could come & go as we pleased without the worry of disturbing the owners.
The food here is truely amazing. I can honestly say it's the best we've ever tasted. We had both dinner & breakfast and the quality is continuous throughout. At breakfast, hot food is cooked to order from the menu & beautifully served. At dinner, my choice of starter had sold out (they were very busy) but the chef made me something 'off menu' so I didn't miss out. All food is seasonal & locally sourced, you can taste the freshness.
I would not hesitate to recommend Castle Cottage as a wonderful place to stay, but would advise that you eat here too, it really is a treat!
