I stayed in the Mill with 3 of my friends for a short fishing trip. Upon arrival we were all really impressed with the idyllic location, the homely feel of the entire place and the way the cupboards were stocked with basics to say nothing of the delicious farm fresh eggs homemade jams and cereals. Our stay was very pleasant, the owners were very helpful especially with the Euro booking, the fishing was great and we would definitely stay here again.

Ann and Phil were welcoming , helpful and unobtrusive during our short stay. A generous welcome pack was ready in the lovely Cottageand included homemade jam and fresh eggs. There was a stair gate for our toddler and pleasant surroundings for the children to explore. The children enjoyed seeing the resident cat and chickens.A great location for exploring Wales too!We got to Conwy Castle in about an hour. The communal room was very handy with guides and books and games for the kids.Overall, the property was clean,well presented and the owners were professional.

I took my 81 year old mother here for a weeks holiday. We had the most wonderful time despite the weather not always being perfect. The owners are so friendly and helpful. The accommodation was perfect. Beautifully renovated Mill house - with a really warm friendly feeling. It was sparkling clean when we arrived and there was fresh bread, home made jam and marmalade, eggs (from the owners hens) butter and milk. The kitchen was stocked with cereals and herbs and spices, oils etc - pretty much everything you would find at home. There was a lovely balcony with a table and chair where you could eat breakfast and the neighbours ducks came down the stream outside in the mornings. The house also has a wood burning stove which was lovely and very easy to use. The location is great. It's straight off a decent road yet is very quiet and tranquil. It's easy to drive to all the places you might want to see in North Wales. The local town of Ruthin is a delightful old market town and well worth a visit. The accommodation also provides a file with loads of ideas of things to do in the area and there is a communal room that has books to read (a great stock of kids books) and loads of leaflets about the area as well as a computer that you can use. All in all it was perfect. I shall be booking again next year! I can't recommend this place enough - well worth the money

Had a very comfortable stay with my family in the STUDIO. Was provided with home made jam(really good), eggs butter, milk etc for breakfast which meant you even if you could arrive late without having to worry about food. The accomodation itself was set in very nice surroundings with apple trees in the driveway & lots of space in garden for children to runabout. To reach the place follow directions as on website - do not rely on satnav which will take you through the narrowest roads.
