stayed here as we were racing at GYG kart circuit. Really easy to book and nice owners. On arrival we were shown round and everything explained.
The cottage (the mill) itself was small yet lovely with a wood burning stove so very cosy. The bedrooms were nice with very comfortable beds.
The only thing I didn't like was the sit down bath which was tiny. After racing all weekend in the cold we really wanted a lie in a hot bath but couldn't do that really. The shower was nice though.
The kitchen area also nice and welcoming with a few groceries from the owners which i thought was really nice.
Didn't get to use the garden much but I imagine it would be fantastic in summer and would return

Four of us stayed and had a great weekend celebrating a birthday. The cottage was lovely and the finishing touches of welcome pack and general essentials were an added bonus. We were not doing any walking this time but lots of walking was close by. Had a nice visit to Portmeirion for the day and then relaxed in front of the log burner - perfect.

Stayed here with my boyfriend and another couple for the weekend and it was perfect. The room had everything we needed and the owners had even left milk bread and eggs for us to enjoy. We will definitely be returning ! Thanks

1 review We booked the studio apartment for easy access to the Clocaenog Forest for Rally Wales. We were pleasantly surprised to find such an extensive and beautiful apartment. It was very well equipped, with everything from fresh eggs to wood for the wood burner. It was such a warm, welcoming and comfortable place that we almost didn't want to go out! I cannot recommend this place enough.

A truly lovely house, very comfortable and relaxing , fabulous views. Was our 2nd Christmas at Hafanned, I travelled with my husband and 2 children (10 & 8). The location is great and lots to do around. We would strongly recommend this cottage the owners are great and can't do enough to make sure you enjoy your stay !!!!!!

We stayed here a couple of years ago and loved it. The peaceful surroundings and well equipped studio are excellent. There is an extra bedroom too so we had two lots of guests join us. Ann and Phil are so welcoming they provide a grocery welcome pack with home made preserves, fresh laid eggs and lots more, nothing is too much trouble for them all they want is for the guests to enjoy their lovely home.
Fab place to stay and we will be going back, that is for sure. Thank you both for making our stay so easy.
