Plas Ifan is a friendly, attractive B&B, tucked away very close to the centre of Prestatyn. It's easy to get to the town, beach and station, but it's nevertheless peaceful and quiet. The garden is very beautiful, with a stream running through it; our room was pleasant and comfortable; the breakfast was generous and good; and the conservatory/dining/sitting room was a lovely place to sit and eat.
The owners Malcolm and Swan were very welcoming: my teenage son commented that it felt like a cross between a B&B and staying with friends. There were little touches that made us feel well looked-after - like bottles of water and little cakes as well as tea and coffee in our room, and being offered fruit to take with us when we left for the day.
The wasn't anything we didn't like... The rooms were slightly shabby in places, but this was part of the character of the place. It's worth noting that there is no level access to this accommodation: you need to be able to climb uneven stairs and steps in the garden.
We would definitely return and recommend.
