Went for some lunch and enjoyed it - it is fairly standard pub type food although the chips were good and you have fresh salad. So better than a basic pub but still in that category - as the price of the meals suggest anyway. The place itself looks fine. In the evening, perhaps with adults enjoying drinks, you can try to imagine why they call it a wine bar. Service was fine, the waitress a little severe but polite enough.
Only issue for us was that there is provision for tables outside, which is literally just a few feet outside the wine bar i.e. they open the shutters and put a part of which is insider, part outside. We had people eating "outside" and smoking - with the smoke blowing in to everyone else. Technically because their table was a few feet outside that might be legal but when it blows in on everyone else - because they are basically sitting by people who are also eating inside as its so close - I think the staff should have raised this and asked them to stop smoking. Customers should have to do this. If you can catch a time without smokers, I recommend it!
