“A gem of a place”
Reviewed 8 January 2014 for a stay in December 2013

Needed a weeks base to attend an appointment in Manchester....but didnt expect to have such a gem. The cottage is beautiful. Extremely comfortable, (the bed is the best we've ever slept in!), thoughtfully decorated throughout and in the midst of winter wonderfully warm. Had everything we needed...and given the time of year the christmas decorations and tree were an added homely bonus. Warm welcome from the owners who couldnt have been nicer. If this is on your shortlist then book it now. Spent many weeks recently travelling from one holiday let to another but this was the cream of the crop. Wonderful stay.

“Excellent, dog friendly accomodation”

Just returned from a 4 night break at The Stables and can not praise the accommodation highly enough. We received a warm welcome from Spencer & Louise and really appreciated the little touches that made The Stables stand out from other accommodation. It was spotlessly clean and the secure courtyard ideal for our dog. The Dyserth walk is on the door step and the beach was ideal for the dog as at this time of year there are no restrictions to where he could go. Shame about the amenities along the seafront, they are quite shabby. On a positive note the beach and seafront were litter free. We would definitely return.

“Fantastic first family holiday”

Our stay at vale view cottage was our first family holiday. We were so impressed with the location and layout of the property, it was just perfect with having a one year old child. The nearest supermarket (aldi) is less than a five minute walk, along with pubs & small beach shops - we even managed to walk to the beach front in half an hour with baby in tow. I cannot speak highly enough of this holiday home and cannot wait to go back next year!

“Excellent location of Cottage”
Reviewed 20 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Stayed here for a week with family and young children, and a dog. It was an ideal location, close to town and not too far walk to the beach for the kids. There is a ALDI supermarket right on the doorstep which is ideal.

There is an old disused railway track at the side of the cottage that they turned into a cycle track/dog walking track.

The cottage itself is a lovely and spacious. The owners even allowed our children to feed their chickens and ducks., which they loved doing.

We traveled by train to our destination. Had day trips out to Rhyl and Llandundo. Went on the tram at Llandundo. It was nice relaxing holiday.

I visited the Stables in July 2012. Fabulous. Absolutely everything we could hope for. Lovely kingsize bed in the main bedroom and 3 single beds in the other bedroom. Beautifully decorated throughout and very handy to get all around wales. Perfect holiday home and perfect hosts. Highly recommend.
