Fantastic from the moment we got there. These people know how to look after you, excellent rooms, bars and food to die for. Met Sue, she is fantastic as are all the staff. Cant wait to be in that part of the country again. 5*

I was pleased to see that upon arrival we were told VERY clearly (with red highlighted section on checking-in form) that there's a £30 surcharge to deep clean the room if we smoke in it; how sad it is that most other hotels cannot or do not seem to attempt any enforcement of a non-smoking policy.
The bar & restaurant men (3 of them; the bar manager, chef and restuarant manager I think) were outstandingly excellent as we ordered our bar meals with wine, etc. The girls in other departments generally were nowhere near as attentive.
The rooms are good enough for 3-star, very well maintained indeed.
The wifi only seems to work in lounge areas, not the rooms, but is free & easy to access.
Coordination of booking & dining was not brilliant, but we managed OK.

Took Husband here for a romantic weekend. Prior requested wine in the room which was followed through. Wonderful Reception staff, particularly Caroline, who was informative and friendly on check in, and Mark who was duty manager and was extremely helpful. Food in restaurant was lovely, slightly limited choice, but saying that I managed to fine a lovely healthy option which I enjoyed immensely. Breakfast was fabulous, choice of cereal, yoghurt, fruit, croissants and full english. Many people went up for second helpings. Also whilst queueing a family requested a sausage and scrambled egg to take back to their room for their dog and the waitress was very obliging. Professionally run, excellent staff and fabulous room with double jacuzzi bath and his & hers sinks, lounger area, 2 TV's and wonderful assortment of teas and coffees. Will definitely return very soon.

Stay as part of a shopping trip to Chester - the rooms could do with a bit of an update but the staff and the food were very good. On arrrival we were made very welcome. The evening meal was "Christmas Dinner" - it was really nice. The cooked breakfast was excellent. It was a very enjoyable weekend.

Stayed here for two nights as part of a group. The hotel obviously caters for coach travellers, as there were already two other tours there. The hotel is smart and clean. the rooms were clean and adequate, althoug the bathroom could do with some attention and the shower was very slow. Dinner on both nights was good, the first night wasx a Welsh night and was accompanied by a harpist and then a male voice choir. This was an entertaining 'extra'. Breakfast was excellent, well cooked and hot, if you wanted more it did not seem a problem. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. There were two conferecnes going on while we were there but this did not interfere with our stay at all. There are a number of rooms for the various tours or group where meals can be taken and a solo traveller should not be put of by the coach tours.

My wife and I stayed here for a friends wedding and the hotel did them proud. The carvery was excellent, the staff were very helpful and the drinks were reasonably priced. The grounds outside are well maintained and the communal areas and reception are tidy and modern looking, apart from the windows which could do with a good clean, which is the case throughout the hotel.

However the room was a serious letdown. The decor was very dated, the chairs were worn and our carpet stopped almost an inch short of one of the walls. Two of the lights did not work although staff promised to deal with this when we informed them on departure. We only had one large towel in the room, which seemed odd as we were in a double and the shower did not stop dripping from Saturday evening through to Sunday morning. To be fair my In-laws had the room next door and that was far more modern although one of the lights in there didn't work either. Maybe the place is being refurbished a room at a time and we were just unluky. The walls are thin so if you stay there and aren't part of any social gathering taking place I would suggest asking for a room at the rear wing of the hotel. Breakfast was adequate, but will be appreciated more by those who like their black pudding raw. Decent choice of cereals and items for traditional fried breakfast but nothing to write home about. We stayed for £60 as part of the wedding deal which seemed about right; asking for more (which they usually do) would seems either cheeky or optimistic.

Have just returned from a four night stay at the Beaufort Park Hotel which was really most enjoyable the staff were most helpful and very pleasant and we found the food most enjoyable and very well presented Our room was spacious and verry comfortable .i would recommend this hotel to anyone going to North Wales as it also has good access for visiting many parts of wales.
