Arrived late evening, was travelling from Holyhead to London with 2 young children so had booked some months in advance as wanted somewhere to stop overnight. Handy location off A55. Check in was straight forward and upon getting to the room and seeing that the children's beds had been made up for us was such a welcome surprise. Have stayed with Travel lodge around UK about 6 times always booking a family room but have never had the beds all prepared for us before so thanks for that!! Everything in room was fine and hotel very quite, only problem was a car alarm going off in the night for a while! Really couldn't fault the place, all staff we met were friendly and helpful. Breakfast next door at the little chef was good and staff there very friendly and helpful also. Having read some of the earlier reviews from before the refurb work had been a bit concerned but having booked well in advance and only paying £20 for the night I think we had a great deal.

Very clean, tidy, quiet, comfy..everything you want in a hotel but at a great price. Would have been nice to have a pub/restaurant rather than Little Chef but a short drive and there are some good places to eat. Also think it is a bit mean charging for wi-fi when it doesn't really cost them anything. But that aside it's a nice hotel...friendly staff and the refurbishments are great. Oh and the shower is brilliant!

The rooms were clean and tidy and nicely refurbished with amazing new beds and pillows. The bathroom was nice and the shower was very good. Would definitely recommend! Coat hangers and kettle, tea and coffee provided.

I booked well in advance and was very happy with the price I paid for 6 nights. The rooms have been recently refurbished and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts in the little Chef were good but the evening meal was poor and thye service not great. Overall this Travelodge offered unbeatable value for money in the local area.

Room Tip: ask for a room at the back ofthe hotel and you will have no traffic noise.

Had a great overnight stay on a break to visit family and coast. Lovely new rooms- great branding, more modern. Very comfy bed- loads of bouncy pillows! Very clean and fresh. Had a bit of trouble working the shower and room was chilly on arrival- but easily switched on heater and room very warm quickly.
Important to remember that access to the lodge is only on one side of A55 so allow more time if you (like us) are coming from Chester and need to exit slip road and travel through Northop to get to the travelodge.
A very comfortable stay- and used the Little Chef next door for a very nice breakfast.

We booked well in advance and a party of over 30 stayed on a Friday night for less than £400. The rooms seemed to have been recently refurbished and the beds were comfortable. Some of the party had some problems at the Little Chef on site, but overall this Travelodge offered unbeatable value for money in the local area.

I've stayed at this hotel many times and it was looking a bit grubby round the edges, however they have recently renovated the property. What a transformation, lovely light and bright rooms with a very comfy bed, pillows and duvet. I couldn't believe the new look. Bathroom immaculate too. 5stars to Travelodge and all for only £26!!!!!! Long may it continue.
