Better than most Travelodges. Well maintained, comfortable clean and tidy. A little hard to find with post code. Friendly and helpful staff. Single beds not too comfortable may be ok for small child. Just what we needed.

The hotel is nicely located on the A55 with good clean rooms.
The staff are helpful and polite.
The little chef next door should be avoided as the food is poor and the service is not great. However there is an OK Diner just down the road that offers great service and good food.

Stayed here as we were attending a family wedding not far away. Hotel was clean ( apart from outside of windows) Staff helpful and pleasant especially Wendy. Back of travelodge was quiet and grass area if children wanted to have a game of football or run around. Fan, iron and board available on request. Nowhere to walk to for local area and only for vehicle users . It is on the motorway therefore access is from one side only. We added an extra 200 miles over 5 days, even though we were only going approx 10 miles at the most as the crow flies ! Do more research than we did regarding access. The A55 does get very busy. The outside at the front could do with some tidying up a bit as it gives a bad impression, it does get very busy around it because of a LIttle Chef being on same site. Because of access we wouldnt stay again but with regards to hotel it was absolutely fine, no complaints.A comfortable 5 day stay.

Room Tip: Rooms on back quiet. No lounge/communal area.Nothing around to access except garage.Car or Taxi requi...

Needed to do an overnight stay at end of day in Chester and chose this hotel. What a disaster. Its no where near Chester despite its name. The room smelt musty. I was kept awake until almost 1.00am. Considering I arrived late and planned to get up at 6.00am it was very annoying to hear people walking around and banging furniture in the room above until late. At 12.55am I had no choice but to go to reception to complain. The duty staff came to my room but the noise had suddenly stopped. He did say I should fetch him if the noise started again. But when it started 20 minutes later I couldn't be bothered. One guest arrived with a small dog whilst I was struggling to get internet access in reception. Even my 3G dongle wouldn't work. When I complained to the manager next morning about the noise, he informed me that the walls were o.k but even he could hear noises from room above reception. Floor-celing sound proofing is non-existent, That was it no apology or offer of a refund. This was my first and last visit to a Travelodge, regardless of how cheap.

Room Tip: Avoid hotel, in particular room 001, you will hear all passerby's from reception to room plus no...

Me and my family stayed in the Chester Northop Hall hotel and the price was very reasonable. Our room was comfortable, clean and the staff very helpful. When making a request for a rear facing room as the front of the hotel faced a busy road this was accommodated. Good stay and would go back.

Before we arrived we had previously come to the Travelodge and enquired into the surrounding area for things to do etc. The staff were so helpful with this. On arrival we were welcomed and had been allocated 4 rooms together as we were a party of 11 which was fantastic. The rooms were clean, staff very helpful and lovely area at side of property to overlook the fields and sheep! We had a great weekend stay.

Room Tip: Free WiFi for 30minutes. Its as good place to stay close to many things to do. Quiet rooms even thou...

Stayed one night as attending funeral locally. Was pleasantly surprised and pleased at standard of refurbished rooms. Bright, clean and fresh . Last time in Travelodge was disappointed by dated decor etc but if the revamp programme continues we will look up Travelodges.
Pleasant friendly staff.

Room Tip: We had a room at the back which was very quiet
