Fancied a few days away at the last minute and booked to stay at Venetia as it was ranked #1 in Abersoch. Stayed in the 'Cinque' room (which had a jacuzzi bath!). Very welcoming from start to finish, room was great, food was excellent and well worth the money. The location was ideal with a 2 minute walk to the centre of Abersoch and 5 mins to the beach. Will definitely be coming back to again!

Visited the restaurant with another couple last night. Interior has been simply, but designed in a modern fashion. Seated in the bar area first once our drinks order had been taken and were given some complimentary canapés, nice touch! We were seated and the food all arrived beautifully presented. We had lovely starters such as scallops, however I will say one of the members of our party had a pasta starter which was tiny... Too small! Mains were delicious and again presented well. Deserts were beautiful. The whole experience almost felt like it was on a Michelin star level. It's one of the the only places in abersoch that really pushes the boat out to make sure you enjoy your night as much as possible. Well worth a visit, food can be pricey depending on what you get but definitely worth it!

See my room review, excellent rooms and excellent restaurant.
We stayed in July and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Abersoch is a particularly popular location and you need to book ahead.
Marco the Chhef is very talented - well taught by his father who we also admired for his talented cooking!

Room Tip: Room 5 (cinque) is excellent with a separate shower and bath. Restaurant is particularly good - try the crab linguine and also the turbot. The food has an Italian bias but blended with traditional British. The Scillonian "Grillo" white wine is excellent value.

My wife and I visited with my parents when we were staying in the area. We had the lamb shank, which was very good, but my mum thought the veg could be more adventerous (carrots, green beans and peas), but it was ok for me. The menu is a lot of seafood and pasta dishes. For a starter I had the pea soup, which was also very nice, and for dessert the chocolate fondant.

stayed here for two nights, The hotel was very nice but what made it was the staff. thanks to Jane, Marco and Brittain who made our stay enjoyable and very peaceful after a long drive from London.
Would recommend eating there too as the food was wonderful.
Hope to go back again sometime.

Room Tip: We stayed in UNO which had a sea view
