We stayed at the Venetia last summer, and picked it purely on the Trip Advisor ratings. I would say this is the best hotel in the area - fantastic service from the moment we arrived. We stayed in the biggest room with the jacuzzi, though unfortuntately this was out of order and we had 10% of the room price refunded. There was homemade choclate orange cookies waiting for us when we arrived in our room, a long with the usual tea coffee etc. Plasma TV in the bathroom. I have to say the best part of the stay was the food, great value for money but the quality was outstanding, and the breakfast was incredible. Home made croissants, full english..so much choice. I would definately recommend. This is a 3 minute stroll from the local town and beach - perfect location.

Room Tip: All rooms are on the smaller side so choose the biggest - still great value for money!

We first saw mention of the Venetia last year in the Telegraph and it looked worth a try. We were right and enjoyed 3 nights there in May in room Due at the front of the building with sea views between the houses opposite. The room is well furnished, the bed is comfortable and the shower room is smart. One small improvement would be a shelf in the shower room for toiletries. The food at breakfast and dinner from an extensive menu was cooked and presented beautifully. Try the Antipasto selection starter it's wonderful. The bar area is ideal for pre-dinner drinks, but we would have preferred more comfort to sit and talk in after dinner. We must also mention the staff who were all friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Uno and Due are at the front with some sea views and the road is not noisy.

This restaurant was extremely inviting and beautifully decorated. Despite our reservation, we were allowed to stay in the bar area for some drinks way past our booking time despite the number of bookings they had. The bar area is decorated in a very elegant style and the staff are extremely accommodating.

When we sat down for the meal the starters were presented in a very stylish manner, the scallops were absolutely relish, they were just as good as they looked. What a fantastic starter. One member of our group had the pate. A typical faux pas of most restaurants with pate is that they never give the right amount of bread/toast/brioche that is suitable for the pate. This is not an issue at Venetia, they ensure that you are more than accommodated and ensure you have more than enough toast, presented in a lovely basket.

The mains were all lovely, everyone in our party enjoyed them thoroughly. They really were very tasty and not at all on the small side of portions. All in all a very very lovely meal, we shall be visiting again.

This is the second time we've stayed at Venetia and yet again it was perfect and we were completely spoilt by the staff and place. We stayed in Uno at the front of the property with a partial view of the sea. The room was immaculate and had a very comfortable bed and excellent shower and bathroom. The location is perfect, removed slightly from the centre of the village high street, but easy to walk to the beaches and shops and other restaurants. The cooked breakfast is delicious one of the best I've eaten. Abersoch at this time of year is lovely and quiet and hopefully we'll be back again at the same time next year.

Top class Boutique Hotel every thing about it was Fantastic, the food is on par with any top London restaurant , it was fantastic and wonderfully presented. We have travelled widely and stayed in some wonderful places with great food. But this is as good as any. The owners & staff are very attentive , well done to all at the "Venetia ".

Room Tip: Make sure you dine in the restaurant. It's wonderful.

Having spent many, many happy holidays in this area, I had always wanted to come here in Winter. Decided we would stay in Abersoch and having checked out TripAdviser the Venetia was the hotel of choice. What a fantastic choice. From the first phone call nothing was too much trouble. It was fantastic. We would have liked to try the restaurant but sadly it was closed due to winter opening hours, however, the breakfast more than made up for this in the morning. Will definitely return and would highly recommend a stay here.

I surprised my boyfriend, Simon, with a trip to abersoch for his 30th birthday and chose The Venetia from the amazing trip advisor reviews. Simon grew up in abersoch at on the warren which I was never apart of, so thought a little visit would be nice to revisit old memories. I phoned about 2 months before to book 'Cinque' the room with a jacuzzi bath as it sounded extra special, and right from then the customer service was second to none, extremely helpful very friendly on the phone..I had a good feeling about it before we got there!

When we arrived it was closed until 4 so we had a lovely walk around abersoch as it is only about 2 mins walk to the high street nice tucked away, brilliant location! When we came back at 4 to check in a very attentive front of house, Britney, greeted us, asked about our visit (said happy birthday to Simon as it had been noted down!) and took us up to Cinque, she then clearly went through a that was to know about the room including the use of the jacuzzi rather than us having to get the instructions out!..she was a delight!

The room was incredible, it felt like no one had ever stayed in it before, the decor was gorgeous, we felt like we were in a home from home! Marco the Michelin recommended chef had left us some lovely homemade shortbread, and chocolate on the side which was such a lovely
touch to the stay..and got devoured alongside a cup of tea!

I particularly also loved that at night they illuminate the gorgeous Victorian villa front with purple/pink lights, it just looked so pretty!!

We ate in the Venetia restaurant on Simons birthday night..which we were totally blown away by the standard of food, and red wine (terre siciliane Nero d'avola, a must try!) I had the lamb which fell off the bone, simon had the jack dory, we both concluded it was hands down the best quality meal we had ever eaten, and a nice touch that Marco came out to speak to us, again, another example in how the Venetia goes that extra mile!

We are absolutely returning to the Venetia, it was for us the nicest break we have ever had, both for revisiting old memories, and creating new memories of abersoch largely thanks to the
wonderful Venetia! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so
special..see you again in the not so distant future!!
