“The best campsite ever”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 June 2014

We have camped in lots of places and this is by far the best campsite we have ever stayed on. It is spotlessly clean and in a beautiful location. It took about 15 minutes to walk into Abersoch village which was fine but plenty of taxis available if needed. Jackie and Kenny are just lovely and make you so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. I can't recommend this site enough and for the price it is well worth it. We paid £22 for a 4 man tent and given the facilities, the lovely wardens and the location we thought this was excellent.

Stayed here with my family (inc 1 child and 1 dog) and had a lovely weekend. The views are amazing and the staff very accommodating and friendly. The wash rooms and toilets and clean and the owners even set up a tv in the 'barn' for the world cup match.

It can get a bit windy up there as it is on a large hill so take a blanket.

I would definitely recommend this site to families and couples alike.

Amazing views, extremely clean facilities. Friendly staff and great location. Very family friendly and nice that you don't get "packed in". Nice walk down into the town and good free draining ground when it rains!

After visiting Tyn-Y-Mur on regular occasions over the last 4 years, the site gets better every year.
Clean facilities friendly wardens great views what more could you want.
The wardens Jackie and Kenny are always thinking of ways to improve things for visitors to Tyn y Mur without losing its welcoming and friendly feeling.

Just returned from a fantastic week in Abersoc, we stayed at Tyn-Y-Mur Touring and Camping park. What an amazing place, fantastic views of Snowdonia, Hells Mouth and St Tudwalls. The site is spotless, shower blocks and toilets had consent hot water. I'd highly recommend for families with the park and place to cycle for the kids in a safe environment. We decided we had chosen well as it was only a short 10 min walk to the beach and village. A special word must go to the wardens Kenny and Jackie, they are accommodating, friendly and always happy to help.I'd have no hesitation in recommending this site to new and seasoned campers. Can't wait to return later this summer.

This is the best site you'll find to stay in Abersoch. The views are stunning and the wardens Jackie and Kenny are so welcoming and helpful, assisting and providing advice to a novice camper like myself and even going that extra mile by providing milk out of their own fridge when we ran out and the shops were shut.
The shower blocks and toilets were sparkling clean and regularly maintained and the whole campsite was spotless with bins regularly being emptied.
An added bonus was being able to get a snack in the morning by the onsite food van FlipFlops.
Fantastic place to stay, I would recommend this camping site to anyone of any age.

We have been visiting tyn y mur for the last several years, and decided to stay there over the may bank holiday.
The site was immaculate, toilets spotless and showers piping hot as always.
The catering van flip flops had upgraded its menu and give a lot more choice, and having sampled some of the food was spot on. The views here are nothing short of spectacular, and being a stones throw from the village we loved to stroll down and have our tea and a few drinks of an evening.
The park managers Jackie and Kenny were helpful, friendly and made us feel really welcome.
They were great with our kids, who loved to play on the park.
We really enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunately, a small minority spoil it for everyone.
Another family arrived on the site, with no tent. The site managers helped them out by lending them one. That evening they cracked open cans of lager, blasted loud music and swore at each other at the top of their voices. Then lighting an open fire and throwing their rubbish all over the place. The site managers apologised to everyone in the camping field and asked them to leave.
Lucky enough, they left without too much fuss but left the borrowed tent ripped in a pile in the middle of the field along with a pile of rubbish.
Over the years of staying here, we have never seen anything like this before. They were like animals.
We cant thank the wardens enough for acting swiftly and removing them. That is the reason we will only stay on this family site in Abersoch.
Although really friendly and down to earth the park managers wont take any nonsense, and I'm sure other people would agree that's what's needed to ensure everybody else enjoys their stay.

Have already booked several short stays throughout the rest of this year.
So 10 out of 10 to the site managers....
Keep up the good work and this site will stay the " Best site in Abersoch "

From the review below/previous... it wouldn't take a genius to work out that those mentioned didn't like being removed from the park .....
