This is a superb place for a holiday with a very friendly welcome from the hosts which was second to none. They did everything possible to make us feel comfortable in their beautiful home which we would recommend to anyone travelling to the area. There is much to do and see close by and a vast number and variety of places for eating out. We hope to go back to The Old Rectory for a longer stay in the future.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are equally beautiful and luxurious. I would not mind staying in any of them.

Gary and Lindsay seem to have thought of everything for the comfort of their guests. The rooms are beautifully decorated, quiet and well equipped with all the essentials and some special treats. The guest sitting room is large with sumptuous green leather suites, a Samsung TV complete with Sky box is available. There are, books, guides and magazines all to be enjoyed in front of a blazing log fire. The breakfast room has a huge dining table and high backed chairs. An abundance of cereals and fruits are supplied to be enjoyed as a prelude to the arrival of your (large) cooked breakfast, and that is all you need 'till dinner! Deciding where to dine is simply a case of choosing from the extensive list, which you will no doubt receive with your booking confirmation.

Room Tip: Our group used 3 of the 4 available rooms and all were a similar standard.

We found the Old Rectory last year and have just returned from another great weekend. The Old Rectory is a beautiful building in a wonderful setting, and ideally placed for exploring the peninsula or playing golf at Nefyn and Pwlhelli. The rooms are very clean, bright and very comfortable, and the breakfast is a fantastic selection of local produce served in a lovely, sun filled (on a good day) dining room.
Gary and Lindsay are brilliant hosts, very welcoming and helpful, and nothing seems to much trouble for them. I particularly love their attention to detail (fresh milk, sherry and chocolates in the room) and their knowledge and passion for an area that they clearly love.

We wanted to stay somewhere on the Llyn peninsula that was accessible to both the north and south coasts. This looked nice online and it definitely is. Lindsay and Gary are perfect hosts, very friendly and helpful but not intrusive in any way. They will help you to find a good meal out if necessary, as all the local restaurants know them.
The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast sumptuous. There is a lovely lounge with an open fire for the more chilly evenings.
Definitely recommended and we will definitely go back, and it is not often I say that.
