“Superb cottage and location, it's the perfect healthy switch off”
Reviewed 23 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Absolutely gorgeous location and cottage, it's in probably one of the most sort after locations in Snowdonia, in a valley with lush views of the mountains, and surrounded by great walking paths such as the new precipice walk, the best cycle path in Wales is 3 mins away. The town Dolgellau is a haven of celtic and Welsh speakers with so many high quality restaurants and shops, its real Wales. I am a Brit that lives in Hong Kong and stays in some of the best hotels in the greatest locations in the World, and i can honestly say hand on heart this is one of the best cottages, nicest owners and locations for an enchanting and unique holiday. We spent 2 weeks here and never ran out of things to do as its location is the apex to accessing everything in the area, and at the end of a adventurous day its a wonderful retreat, quiet, beautiful and serene. Highly recommended we will be back, we came as a family from the other side of the world and will come again. We love this location in Wales and the cottage. Sad to be leaving and going back to reality !

“A little gem in a beautiful part of Wales.”
Reviewed 16 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

A beautiful cottage where all you will hear is bird song and be greeted with views of mountains and water in the distance.
It was a perfect location for a sporting event and Paul and Jen were excellent hosts in making us feel comfortable!

“Fantastic base for exploring wonderful surrounding area”
Reviewed 30 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

The cottage is in a fabulous location, tucked away in the valley side, with some amazing walks from the doorstep. So good that we are already planning a return! The interior has been done to an excellent standard and is very well equipped to deal with sandy/muddy children! The large tv and dvd collection impressed the kids. Perhaps some thicker darker curtains would help those late risers.

“A little bit of heaven”
Reviewed 16 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Just arrived back from a mini break at this wonderful cottage, The views are outstanding, so peaceful but very convenient for both Barmouth and Dolgellau. Lovely walks from the property and the beach at Barmouth is gorgeous and dog friendly. The cottage is lovely with everything you need and more although my husband has a few bruises from forgetting to duck in the doorway!
We will be back as soon as possible

“Excellent location & lovely cottage”
Reviewed 16 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Excellent location - 15 minutes max from Coed y Brenin in the car for mountain biking which is what my partner and I wanted to do. The local town Dolgellau is also about 5 minute drive away. The cottage is a lot bigger than you anticipate, has a good lay out and the kitchen is well stocked. The pictures do not do it justice - lovely, quiet location. Would be very happy to stay again.

“Perfection!”
Reviewed 9 February 2015 for a stay in January 2015

Oh wow, what a little gem we have just returned from this cottage tucked away in a beautiful spot near to Dolgellau with amazing views of the estuary and the peace and quiet we truly were in heaven.
Fab for cycling and great walks from your doorstep! Would highly recommend, priced about right for what you get the owners are very helpful. They live next door.
The cottage itself has everything you need it was lovely and warm day and night, the owners had thought of everything, even down to the electric blanket on the bed which was really lovely as it was extremely cold in the evenings. Will definatly return with the bikes again!
